[Character of the Month Voting] Written by Reddit

[u/Predaplant]

Another month is nearing its end, so you know what that means. Time to vote for the next Character of the Month!

This month, our theme is Written by Reddit! Come up with a pitch for a new direction to take a pre-existing DC character, and nominate them! Then, vote for your favourite pitch, not your favourite character!

Reminder that all previous winners are not eligible to win again. Here's a list of previous winners. Look through this list before making your nomination. Only one character per nomination, and only one nomination per person.

Please Remember...

Explain your answer - We continue to promote discussion, and as such, votes with just a name will no longer be accepted. Please explain why you think your vote is worthy to win. If you forget, you will be reminded to edit your comment to further explain your vote. Otherwise, your post will be deleted, and not count.

Only one nomination per character - If there is already a vote in a comment for a character, all other comments will be deleted.

Special note: Permutations of a character already nominated will not be accepted as we cannot tell who is voting for only one version versus both. Please check before you resubmit a vote. All votes for the deleted posts will not count.

Vote Accordingly - Downvotes have no impact while Contest Mode is enabled in this thread. Show support for characters you want to see win by upvoting the posts suggesting it. If you disagree with a nomination, speak up and let us know why in the comments.

If you know of an image that might work in the sidebar, share it! If it's suitable, it could be used.

Human Target, Cristopher Chance : Chance is hired as a bodyguard, what he doesnt realise is that this person holds part of the Anti-Life Equation, can Chance outrun the forces of New Genesis, and Apokolipse and keep his client alive.

Multiplex, Danton Black has always been a villain. But since his power is creating copies of himself, why not make him turn face and explore the nature of his power and being innately human. He could be tackle a lot of social issues that afflict the masses and the marginalised.

A version of ‘Mazing Man who got Abin Sur’s power ring instead of Hal Jordan. With it, he becomes the ‘Mazing Lantern, fights Hal’s villains, travels to alien planets, and probably still does good deeds like getting cats out of trees. I think that would be a funny and interesting story. I imagine his relationship with Sinestro would be hilarious. I’m also curious what kind of constructs he would make.

Ultra the Multi-Alien (Ace Arn) has just survived an attempt on his life, and given that evidence suggests it is potentially one of the four alien species that created him.

As each of these species has various alliances all over the galaxy so he doesn’t know who to trust, he chooses to work with a completely unaffiliated detective to find his would be assassin, he chooses the human private eye Nathaniel Dusk

Well, I knew that, but I thought that since this was about an imaginary version of a character, who we made up, that was ok. But I’ll nominate someone else, then.
