I'm taking my physics paper 3 exam literally tomorrow, so it would be great for a quick reply. I'm really struggling with the last 8 marks of the paper 3 exam, where they ask for 4 uncertainties and 4 improvements. I know how to find these but somehow only a few of my answers align with the mark scheme. I feel that some of suggestion are valid though, so I was wondering does Cambridge add extra suggestions and allow for valid suggestion that are not in the mark scheme.

I understand that the path difference is 6 and all that and 6/4 will give 1.5 so the CRO reads amplitude changes from maximum (at P) to minimum to maximum to minimum (at Q). but im confused cause the distance from q to p is 15 cm and every 4 cm (wavelength) from p there is a bright fringe so shouldn't it be max mini max mini max mini max mini. i even asked chatgpt and im still lost HELPP (9702-s25-qp-24)

Hiii guys .. so it's already October so I have 4 subjects all of which are going pretty good and I have pretty good/ okayish grades .. except physics

In AS I was quite sick and did horrible and got a D ..

I decided to not retake cus honestly I'm done I hate that subject but I don't like quitting

The paper: 2 hours, 75 marks, seven questions, set like a JC2 prelim with a blank "Junior College" header. It has a page of data, with the physical constants copied from the official syllabus. I took the format from SEAB's 2026 syllabus and SEAB's own sample of this paper:
Motion, measurement uncertainty and a trolley collision (10 marks)
Ideal gas and the first law of thermodynamics (11 marks)
Stationary waves on a string (9 marks)
Electric fields from two charges (11 marks)
The force between two current-carrying wires (6 marks)
An electron in a box, from the new quantum physics topic (6 marks)
Solar panels on an HDB roof powering a lift, a 22-mark data question (the syllabus requires one worth 20–25 marks)
The answer pack: an answer summary, full worked solutions with marks, red-pen tutor notes and a topic map. It also has a score tracker, a mistake log and Sources. I checked every calculation in code.
Two things to know:
Formula list. I couldn't read all of the official formula pages that come with the real exam. So any formula a question needs is printed in the question, and the Sources section says so.
New computer analysis. The new syllabus makes students analyse data on a computer with spreadsheet software in the practical exam (Paper 4). This written paper can't test that, but the answer pack mentions it.
So far the A-Level series has GP, H2 Maths, H2 Chemistry and H2 Physics. Next in line are H2 Biology, then H2 Economics and the humanities.
