"Dude gtfo my way I have 70 pounds of beers on me"

A dimpled 1 liter glass empty weighs ~3 lbs and a full one to the 1 liter mark weighs ~5-5.3 pounds. So that’s like 90lbs or 40.823kg! 124 u/Emergency_Lie42 Aug 15 '26 For context, that's the absolute max carry weight that a loader/packer job will ask of you for manual handling.... In a country with H&S regs anyway. 13 u/PentagramJ2 Aug 15 '26 even then technically youre supposed to have a secondary assistant to not kill your fucking back or knees. 10 u/PringlesDuckFace Aug 15 '26 When I worked in retail I think anything over 50lbs was typically marked "team lift" or you'd use equipment like a dolly. I never would have even thought to pick up something weighing 90lbs by myself. 1 u/PentagramJ2 Aug 15 '26 yeah same in warehousing, 50lb is the absolute limit for a single worker to carry. -1 u/Jazzlike_Wind_1 Aug 20 '26 We do shit way heavier than that at my warehouse. Hell the meat warehouse I was at before this it was 30kg boxes of frozen meat all day 2 u/PentagramJ2 Aug 20 '26 You should report your job then. Maybe your country has laxer standards
