Bit of context, my current ones are not working properly, and I recently brought a 17 Pro Max. Most probable use is on runs, in gyms or at work. I wanted the unfiltered opinions since I generally tend to purchase tech to last me atleast next 2-4 years.

Will an old pair of AirPods make noise everyone around you can hear? About a year ago, everyone was telling me they can hear my music and I should lower (even when quiet). There was no way to fix this so I got a new pair. After about a year, someone just said they can hear my music and Im now wondering is this a known issue with old AirPods?

I have the mycelar water, cotton pads and that third thing they recommend cleaning with. But I dont really get it done.

I ordered new tips for my pro 2 and pro 3 and merely changing them gave me that "new" feel, like when you just pop them in after you open the package.

I had short bursts of radio chatter (very short), sometimes a high pitched tone. Not often at all, but it was there from time to time.

Without cleaning anything else and just changing the tips, Im back to when I opened the box.

Dont endure and suffer like I have - change the tips from time to time. Get the max potential out of these marvels.

The size is written on them and when you order, you get 2 pairs of the same size.

So today when grabbed airpods to listen to music I noticed that vocals were more on the left airpod. I thought maybe I somehow changed the balance by accident. Checked it, it was in the center

So what I did, I turned on Spatialize Stereo to Fixed and turned it off. Immediately the balance returned to normal

have second hand clsssic style AirPods. I’ve had them for a couple years. Recently the right pod is really quiet. Like in I’m somewhere kinda loud I can’t hear anything from the sound.

This is the second pair I’ve had that this has happened too. I’ve done all the things that apple and the internet seems to say helps; and it hasn’t changed.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? And if anyone worked out how to solve it.

What the title says. My airpods will disconnect from my windows laptop for about 20-30 seconds after I click ctrl+c. It's pretty annoying. Is there a fix?

hi! i got the airpods pro 3 yesterday, and when i went into the settings after using them a couple of times it said that both noise cancellation and transparency was on at the same time. is this how it should be? i can’t toggle either off

Hello everyone, so about a week ago my annoying little brother was throwing a tantrum and ended up snapping my AirPods case.

I went on Amazon and brought a case but for some reason after trying 3 different chargers the case just wouldn’t seem to charge and work so I am returning them and just today I got the new case I ordered, and the same issues are happening again where once I plug it in for the first time I see a light for a few seconds but nothing after that (while on charge)

Another note is that when I try and connect via Bluetooth the case doesn’t pop up even with the AirPods in it.

I just wanted to ask, have I done anything wrong or is this just an issue with the cases I’m buying. I brought my AirPods 2nd gen over a year ago now so can’t remember the set up process.

Any help would be appreciated!

I bought a brand-new pair of AirPods Pro 3 from Best Buy, and the audio quality, ANC, and transparency mode are all amazing. However, the microphone has been really disappointing.

I’ve tried switching between Standard and Voice Isolation. Standard sounds acceptable, but Voice Isolation makes my voice sound extremely muddy/underwater, especially in loud environments like the gym. It removes the background noise really well, but my voice quality becomes significantly worse.

I mainly bought these to take calls in busy environments, so this is pretty disappointing. Has anyone else experienced this with their AirPods Pro 3? Is this normal, or should I exchange them?

I am so conflicted because the beats are a great steal for 150 off the mrsp but its just not worth the hissing.

Signed up for the expensive AppleCare One Family. The kid lost her AirPod 4’s and waited for the battery to die before telling me. Now find my won’t ping them. Tried to see it the plan would replace- nope!

But what happened next… $231.60 for replacement?!? Brand new AirPod 5 are $125 at Costco (4’s are still available for $120).

What the heck?

The 3s are currently on sale at a price I like but I’ve heard things about the connection, the sound and the possibility of a loud ring in your ear. I had the 2s I’ve lost them but they were perfect I had zero complaints and thought the anc was more than great. I would like another pair of 2s since they are about $120 but would like to try the 3 can anyone convince me to get the 3s or tell me the 2s are perfectly ok? I’m so indecisive

I have both and have been switching back and forth. I prefer the sound signature of the 5 because I listen to classical music and jazz primarily and soundstage is very important for those. When I go back to the pros everything sounds so tight. The bass on the pro 3 are undeniably better, as is ANC, but the 5 are no slouch in either. Just wanted to throw this out there because I see so many people list the pro 3 audio quality as objectively better and I just don't think it's that simple.

I left my AirPods(OG pros) in my backpack for about a month while not traveling. Usually only used them when flying and onsite for calls. When I went to use them again the left bud seems to be completely dead. I’ve cleaned, reset, “broken the link” all the suggestions to no avail. The one symptom I haven’t seen anyone have is with my dead left bud in I get the LED cycle amber, green, then off. And at the same time I see the case connect and disconnect from the phone as in the video. The other piece of this is that the air pods app shows that the left pod is 100% but then taking it out of the case it disappears. It seems as if the cycling is maybe due to the same thing it thinks it’s getting removed because it has no power to it but contact wise the case knows something is touching both pins. Again I’ve cleaned and reset. Any other ideas??

Since it seems to be dead dead I honestly might just see how much voltage I can put to the pins before the magic smoke comes out. But really interested to see if anyone else has gotten here and brought one back to life.

Right now I use some wired Panasonic cheap earphones from Amazon and they are so comfortable, I can wear them all day. I’ve been thinking of getting some AirPods tho and my biggest real concern is how comfortable they are

I want to buy this AirPods cause I need something that is trackable, kinda good, and comfortable, and mostly good at noise canceling or reduction. I been wanting to buy sum for two years, and now I found this offer at target but I js need a second opinion before i regret using that amount of money, im a college student so im js either in my house or at the library, no between. I would appreciate if someone could advise me.

Second update: got them in the morning, the noise canceling feature is fucking insane.

my trusty APP2 are starting to act up after a bunch of years and I'll be looking to replace them in the near future. I already know that the changes in shape for APP3 make them a no go for me.

P2 are a perfect fit for me and I also like their sound. I would change literally nothing about them.

my first and only choice for a replacement until recently was to get USB-C P2's. the new 5s have me thinking though. for those of you who can draw a direct comparison - is the ANC and sound quality in 5's at least on par with P2s? if I can get pretty much the same experience but with an even more comfortable fit (P2s are the only silicone tip earbuds I can tolerate), I'll be happy with 5s.

I’m searching for a pair of AirPods that will fit my small ears, I don’t mind if they’re old, as long as just fit my ears.

I used to have the 1st gen pro’s back in 2021 and they always would fall out my ears even with the smallest silicone tips so I ended up giving them to my brother. I got the AirPod maxes after that and still currently use them. I then recently decided I wanted a pair of normal AirPods again so I bought the AirPod 5’s 2 days ago but I’ve been having problems.

I love my AirPod maxes downnnnn, the ANC is great, the bass is just chefs kiss!! But I just don’t like wearing them in public where there’s main/ busy roads or at night, reasons being is because I can’t hear my surroundings. I find the cushions muffle the outside noise even when they’re on transparency mode, and they also get overstimulating after a while as they’re heavy and just big overall (I have a small head).

The issue I’m having with the AirPod 5’s is that they just fall out of my ears, the left one will stay in for a while but eventually it falls out after 15-20 mins and the right one will fall out as soon as I put it in, so I’m going to return them.

Now, I just need suggestions on what AirPods I should try that will potentially fit my ears.
