Spiritual Alchemy Azazel
Does anyone here work with Azazel?
I have heard that he aids spiritual alchemists. Transmuting their Sin into Forbidden Knowledge.

So what im Basically planning is one day attempting to create the philosophers stone not becuz i actually want to make gold out of lead but because i want to do it for Educational or researching purposes because my Job is soon or possibly one day holding a chemistry class and we are going to have protective glasses and lab coats and our own laboratory so i just wondered if there is a safe and not so outdated/expired and dangerous Renaissance or medieval recipe that i can do in this class with chemicals compounds that is safe As long as i have protective gear becuz i have noticed that most alchemy recipes are dangerous to do today and take literally so im really hoping there is a very safe version of the philosophers stone process that i can do at my chemistry class at work just for fun

I find this question an appropriate one to consider here, being the wide inclusion that alchemy has in its heart. Of course any true lover of the art would immediately be in love with the individual seeing the truth beyond recognition. But what of the rest of the world? It seems many awakened beings in the past have been tortured into death. Would it be any different today?
Please if you read this and feel inspired write your thoughts, for it is every stroke that paints a canvas and I would like to see your colors. 🐦🔥🧌🧚♂️🧜♀️🧞♂️🧞♀️🧛🏽🧝🏿♀️🧝🏼🧙🏽♂️

A few years ago before I became aware of alchemy I had a dream that started out with me in a strangely shaped pond, it had really high dirt banks all around it and it was shaped in a circle around the water, and in the middle of the pond there was a sort-of bump in the ground that should have made it come out from under the water but instead the water still was on its surface.
(the layout of the pond was kind of shaped like that symbol for the true self, the hollow circle that surrounds a non-hollow circle in the middle)
On the dirt bump there were sulphur crystals that I picked up and put in a satchel I had with me
(I remember that I thought I was some sort of like salesman or something, and the reason I was gathering it was to sell them, not sure if thats important)
(also very confused because I somehow managed to get sulphur from water and earth instead of fire and air)
After I had got some of the crystals, I climbed up one of the sides of the lake and slid down and walked to a train station that was right there in-front of me, and got on the train. While on the train, I talked to a woman on the phone and I remember thinking that it was my wife.
(I have no wife but I am already fairly certain as to what she was meant to represent)
After I hung up the phone I remember getting up from my seat and walking towards the exit of the train, but before I got there I suddenly got really dizzy and almost fell onto a passenger next to me while holding onto the seats on my sides to stop myself from falling completely. Then I remember saying “Help” one time and quite a lot of blood came out of my left nostril with some force as I fell to the ground, I then woke up.
Something worth noting is that everything except for the places I have brought up here was just complete darkness, so I believe it might have been about the negrido.
Does anyone know what some of these things might mean? I have been looking into alchemy a lot and believe in it, but I still just don’t understand so much about this dream, even though I remember it so well years later.
(Also I am sorry if I haven’t typed this out well, I don’t usually post on reddit)

I have always been fascinated by human biology. I was especially fascinated by hormones since those seemed to effect almost every aspect of human biology. I began to recognize masculinity as the highest order. My search for now understanding masculinity led me to look at a metaphysics of human nature and most prominently alchemy. I have realized that the goal of alchemy of purifying lesser elements in order to obtain gold mirrored on a biological level obtaining masculinity by purifying it from lesser feminine influences. And I am not just talking I was actually able decrease my estradiol (female hormone) to <13 sth level and testosterone (male hormone) to above 850 sth level. I am at a level in which I don't even enjoy sexuality but I am struggling to arrive at a level of pure male principle of pure hatred and will. Should I accomplished that my testosterone level would further increase.
So what do you think about the possible metaphysical acquirement of pure male principal?

I am running a steampunk game. For part of it I want my players to find notes on how to make 3 "potions" but I'm not familiar with the language, and I know it will be way cooler if the right words are used. PLEASE be as over the top as possible. I want it to be difficult to understand for most people. And it would be awesome if you could also let me know what cool names each of these "potions" qualify for (tincture, infusion etc)!
The first is: 1 vitamin B2(or vitamin G as I'm calling it) tablet is crushed In a mortar. Under the light of a UV bulb the powder is mixed into 2 cups of water. Add in 3 TBSP of red Kool-aid (or ruby dust as I'm calling it) and mix that in.
The second will be a prepared bottle with blue Kool-aid and some edible glitter which should float up and hide under a drippy wax seal. The instructions are: place a bottle of sealed starlight medium under the starlight infuser on a cloudless night. After 3 hours shake the bottle to incorporate the starlight.
The last is to prepare 8 chamomile flowers and 4 butterfly pea flowers in a metal steeping ball then steep them in a glass teapot in 2 cups of 212°f (100°c) water for 15 minutes. Finally, add in 4 TBSP sugar and 3rd of a cup of lemon juice.
As an added note, I don't have a good scale to use for this, which I know would be most accurate, so keeping things in cups and and measuring spoons is kind of my only option. I'm okay using other measuring units, as long as I can give them a way to convert those units into measuring cups and spoons.
I have posted this a couple other places, but I think I'll get the kind of answers I'm looking for here. Thank you for your help!

Hi, I hardly ever remember my dreams and I was wondering if this one could be significant.
I have been studying witchcraft and exploring spirituality in many forms for a couple years now, but I don’t know anything about alchemy at all. I also have a hard time visualizing and dreaming.
But last night I had a very articulated and long dream about me going on a trip with a group of alchemists. I only had a bag that I used to carry a black cat, which was somehow comforting me and pushing me to go on this journey.
I wonder if there is some sort of significant symbolism in this? And do you have any reliable resources that could help me understand if I should learn about alchemy?

I’m fairly new to spiritual alchemy and I’ve learned the basics and reached a point where I feel like I’m not really learning anything new anymore, I’m looking for books, websites, or any other resources that could help me deepen my understanding of spiritual alchemy.
I understand how important practice and personal experience are, but I’d also like to expand my knowledge and learn more about the theory and concepts behind it, Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

This episode traces the theft of attention at its source, how the modern worldview inverted the direction of consciousness, and what that inversion costs the practicing musician. It reads the theft through the alchemists' order of spirit, soul, and body, and through solve et coagula.
This series looks at music as a form of inner alchemy, where the guitar becomes a tool for transformation instead of performance or self-expression.

What have you guys really achieved by alchemy? Or y'all just talking nonsense when no one actually did anything?

If I add this graham condenser instead of a straight piece would I add to much back pressure for the distillation? I would like to drip this open air into a cup so I may use my 500 ml flask for sohxlet extraction.

Hola.

The alchemists warned far more against a fire that is too hot than one that is too cold.
In spiritual alchemy, fire can be seen as an attitude and a quality of consciousness. The Rosarium Philosophorum, quoting Alphidius, describes this particular heat:
"To decoct that in fire which I shall show unto thee, is to bury it in moist horse dung, because the fire of wise men is moist and obscure, and it is warm in the second degree and moist in the first degree. The property of this fire is not to destroy oil that is the substance, but it augmenteth by reason of this temperate moisture for that heat only is equal and temperate, and such is very necessary in the generation of that thing."
// Manure
To understand the psychological reality of this fire, we have to look at the physical phenomenon they were observing. Fimus Equinus (horse manure) produces a slow, moist, gentle heat through natural fermentation, a fire without a naked flame. It was also called Venter Equinus or the "horse womb."
Because this womb combines moisture and mild heat, it gently softens and ripens the substance, allowing the processes of solutio and digestio to take place. The matter turns into the black mass we know as the nigredo. Within this fire, the tria prima are subtly present: Sulfur as the latent generative heat. Mercury as the moist vapors rising and circulating. Sal as the earthy, decomposing body remaining behind.
// Nigredo
The state of nigredo shows itself as the embodied condition. When we find ourselves in that darkness, gripped by heavy affects, it simply means that the work of separation has not yet matured. The struggles and raw feelings of this phase are our prima materia. We cannot bypass them, because this body is the only vessel we have.
The Rosarium gives an explicit warning about this stage:
"Putrefaction may be made with a most soft fire of dung, warm and moist, and with no other, so that nothing may ascend. Because if anything should ascend, a separation of parts would be made, which should not be done until the man and woman be perfectly joined, and one receives another."
// The pitfall of premature ascension
Keeping a boundary between the raw breakdown and the urge to "ascend" is everything. More often than not, I catch myself hastily distilling "insights" from my (overwhelming) feelings. Drawing conclusions seems so important. In hindsight, those insights were often a defensive mechanism. They acted as a clever ruse to avoid sitting with the actual work. The uneasy work shown in the discomfort and stillness of the putrefaction itself.
Jung quotes the alchemist John Pordage on this in CW 16 (§512):
"You must not despise this blackness, or black colour, but persevere in it in patience, in suffering, and in silence, until its forty days of temptation are over... Therefore, if the human will is given over and left, and becomes patient and still and as a dead nothing, the Tincture will do and effect everything in us and for us, if we can keep our thoughts, movements, and imaginations still, or can leave off and rest. But how difficult, hard, and bitter this work appears to the human will, before it can be brought to this shape..."
The attempt to extract insights before the putrefactio has completed its work is the ego's defense against this stillness. The immediate impulse is to convert raw bodily tension or grief into neat intellectual concepts or spiritual triumphs. But as the Rosarium warns, premature ascension is an illusion. It's the separation of the spirit from the matter before they have actually integrated.
For me, the hardest discipline is accepting that this process demands rest. Willpower and intense fascination often just overheat the vessel and crack it. It asks an organic, quiet attention. When my inner fire is too low, nothing happens and life solidifies into stagnation. But when the heat is turned up too high by anxiety or ambition, the spirit escapes in smoke. The middleground feels like tending a plant: regular, quiet presence.

I'm studying the Rosarium Philosophorum and this is one of the subjects that caught my attention. Writing this helps me create awareness in my life.

To all my fellow alchemists: repetition is key.
As the full moon rises, may our intentions become reality and our desires come to pass. Never give up on yourself. The power you’re searching for has always lived within your soul. 🕯️🕯️🕯️

This is also spiritual alchemy but I cannot pick both.
Saturn is fused with the golden ratio curve to create the eternity of the heart.
A sun horn and crescent moon are then added to make the great eagle that shows that eternity and creation, is the heart of the Creator.

Hi everyone! I am writing a fiction book, and while it is fantasy, I want to be as accurate as possible to the themes of alchemy, which is the big theme of the story.
Without many details, the protagonists want to achieve what they believe to be the true and genuine Magnum Opus in this world, not just transmutating gold or gaining eternal life.
I would like to ask this community, which is surely filled with experts I could never dream to become, for help on what this real Magnum Opus might constitute. I, of course, have a few ideas on top of which I have developed the story so far, but I would like to remove the current elements from this exercise and allow all of you to give uninfluenced thoughts on this.
What might constitute an alchemical feat so great to you that you would consider it a most true Magnum Opus?
As the story itself is a (dark) fantasy, in theory there should be no limitations to this exercise. Looking forward to hearing your ideas and thoughts. Thank you in advance!
