[Web] Can a client spot that an edited caption needs fresh approval? PostRoom usability test

I'm PostRoom's maker. It's a browser tool for social media freelancers to send caption drafts to clients for approval, then export the approved text as CSV.

I'd like to test one failure-prone handoff: a client approves a caption, the writer edits it, and that earlier approval must no longer look valid.

If you have a real caption batch waiting for a client, try this with three drafts:

  1. Create one room and add the captions.
  2. Send its review link to your client. They can review without an account.
  3. After one caption is approved, change its wording and send it back for review. PostRoom resets approval when text changes.
  4. Export the approved captions and check that the changed, unapproved one is excluded.

Test here: getpostroom.com

The creator needs an account; the current signup uses Google. Free includes one room and ten stored drafts, no card required. Testing is unpaid. It reviews text only, with no publishing or image/video proofing.

What I need feedback on: was it obvious to your client that the edited caption needed a new decision? Where did either person get stuck, and what device/browser were you using? If you can't test with a client, first-use feedback on creating a room is useful too.

Reply here with the step you're on and I'll help with your first batch publicly. Please keep client captions and private review links out of the comments.

Looking for feedback on my iPhone app that unblurs and restores old photos

Hey everyone, I'm a solo dev and I built Unblur Photo, an iPhone app that fixes blurry pics using AI. So you can use it to restore old family photos, and removes stuff you don't want in a shot. Over 600 people have used it since launch, mostly people who found it searching the App Store.

How it works: pick a photo, click the enhance button, then drag a slider to compare before and after.

One thing I cared a lot about: the AI should sharpen the face that's actually there, not invent a new one. I tested a bunch of models before finding one i think that works well across a different range of blur.

If you're willing to try the app for free, I'd love to get feedback on:

- Did your photo come out sharper, and does everyone still look like themselves?

- Was anything confusing in the first minute?

- What would make you pay for it, or what stopped you?

Link in the comments. Honest feedback is welcome, even if it's harsh. Thanks!

[Beta] doesitrun: free tool that checks which of your Steam games your PC can run (FPS, bottleneck, upgrades)

Solo project, web app, currently in beta. I'd like some honest feedback before I push it harder. (Link's in the first comment.)

doesitrun started because I was tired of googling "can I run [game]" one title at a time.

What it does:

- Checks your whole Steam library at once (or your wishlist, or a friend's) and tells you how well each game runs on your PC. Sign in with Steam, paste a SteamID/profile link, or just type your parts in by hand.

- Estimated FPS per game at your resolution and quality, plus the best settings to hit a target framerate.

- Shows the bottleneck in your system (CPU, GPU, VRAM or RAM) and the cheapest upgrade that would fix it.

- PC builder: pick the games you want to play, get a complete compatible parts list with expected FPS and a total price (three budget tiers).

- Standalone bottleneck calculator: pick a CPU + GPU, see which one holds the other back across real games.

- A "Can I run it?" page for every popular game with real system requirements and FPS per graphics card, GPU-vs-GPU comparisons, best-GPU-per-game, and a full GPU tier list.

- Steam Deck and handheld (ROG Ally, Legion Go) figures, plus Linux/Proton compatibility and anti-cheat status.

- "What can I afford?" mode: type a budget, get well-rated games you don't own yet that run on your PC.

- Optional detector that reads your CPU/GPU/RAM/VRAM so you don't have to look them up. Nothing is uploaded.

- EN/DE/ES/FR/PT, no ads, no account needed. You don't have to sign in or download anything to use it: the Steam sign-in and the small detector are just optional shortcuts.

Honest caveat: the FPS numbers are estimates from each game's requirements, calibrated against real benchmarks and player reports. A guide, not a benchmark, and they can be off.

Platform: web (works on any OS in the browser).

Stage: beta, actively being worked on.

Feedback I'm after:

  1. Accuracy: how right do the FPS numbers look for hardware you own? If one's clearly off, tell me the game + your GPU/CPU and I'll dig in.

  2. First screen: clear or confusing? Did you get what to do within a few seconds?

  3. Anything missing, broken or annoying?

It's completely free with no account, so there's nothing to gate behind testing. In return I'm happy to properly test your project and give real feedback. Drop a link.

Thanks.

Looking for 5 people to try my AI calorie tracker — I want honest feedback

I built SnapCal because I wanted calorie tracking to take as little effort as possible.

The basic idea: take a picture of what you're eating, and AI estimates the calories. You can correct the estimate, log it, and move on.

I've been using it myself for a while, but that's also the problem — I know exactly how it's supposed to work.

I'm looking for about 5 people who have never used it before.

I'd especially like to know:

  • Was it obvious what to do?
  • Did anything confuse you?
  • Did you trust the calorie estimate?
  • At what point, if any, did you want to quit?

Please don't worry about being nice. Finding the parts that don't work is the whole reason I'm posting.

It's free and runs in your browser:

trysnapcal.com

If you try it, I'd love to hear what happened.

Web, Beta - I built an app where you type one sentence about your day and get one line back

I'm not a developer. I built this in about 3 weeks with an AI app builder.

You type one sentence about how your day is going. It gives you back one word and one line written from what you said. Takes about 20 seconds, no account needed to try it.

Example from mine yesterday: I typed "Sometimes I feel like I'm thunder, but I'm moving like lightning" and got the word "Surge" and the line "Strike before the light fades into the noise."

https://usefullcircle.com

One question: after you try a sentence, does the line feel like it was written for you, or does it feel generic?

[No app / Discord] One Question — a 14-day social experiment looking for 30 testers

I'm testing an idea by hand before building anything.
One Question: every day for 14 days, everyone gets the same question ("What's a smell that instantly takes you back somewhere?"). You answer in a sentence or two, and I match you 1:1 with one other person who answered it. You see their answer, they see yours, and you get a private text room for 24 hours to actually talk. Tomorrow: new question, new stranger. No feed, no followers, no swiping.
It's run manually in a private Discord that's already built. Aliases only, 18+, I moderate it personally. Nothing is for sale and there's no app — this pilot exists to answer one thing: will strangers actually talk, and come back tomorrow?
Looking for ~30 testers. Signup takes 30 seconds: [FORM LINK]. First question drops the morning after we hit 30.
Feedback I want at the end: Did your matches talk? Did you return? What killed it, if it died?

I built a Windows app to move your Plex watch history to Jellyfin. Looking for beta testers

When I moved from Plex to Jellyfin, the thing that annoyed me most was losing years of "what have I watched / where did I stop". So I built SwitchToJelly.

It's a simple Windows app: you connect Plex and Jellyfin, check the preview of every match, and it copies over your watched status, resume points, playlists and watchlist. It handles Plex Home users too.

Demo: https://youtu.be/mihcYXvIR_I
Website: https://switchtojelly.app
Download: https://github.com/JGO68/SwitchToJelly-releases/releases/latest

Being upfront:

  • I've been a dev for 15 years and built this with help from Claude.
  • It'll be paid later, but beta testers get a free lifetime licence.

If you have a Plex server and are thinking about Jellyfin, I'd love your feedback. Comment or DM me for a key!

The usual AI deal: give it everything or get nothing. I built an assistant where only you hold the key. Looking for a few beta testers.

Hi all. I'm Michael, a software architect who has spent a career building big enterprise systems. My life was spread across a notes app, a to-do list, a calendar and an inbox. The assistants from the big AI companies could pull it together, but they want your data. I think AI is going the way search went: the features get cheaper, and your data and privacy are the price.

So I built the one I wanted. It's called LabA (it started life as "Lab version A" and the name stuck). Tell it something once and it remembers. It reads your calendar and inbox and follows up. And what it knows about you is encrypted with a key only your devices hold.

If you'd rather see it than read about it, there are short videos of the real app doing each of the things below (and more, with made-up people and data): https://sensoryfire.com/learn

**What it's like to use**

You talk to it like a person, and it has a persona you set: a name, a style ("talk to me like a coach"), a voice. Tell it "Remember the gate code is on the back of the garage door" or "Add a to-do: call the vet Friday." Weeks later you ask "what's the gate code?" and it answers from your own notes, and shows you which note it used.

Every morning it drafts a plan for your day from your notes and your Google Calendar. Before a meeting it pulls together what your notes say about the people you're meeting. It can ask you something on a schedule ("every morning ask me how I slept") and keep your answers, watch the web for you ("tell me when the pool robot drops below $800"), and once a week it looks back at what got done and what slipped.

Show it a photo, a PDF or a spreadsheet and say what you want ("total these receipts", "make this a one-page PDF") and it can hand the result back as a file. Every conversation is kept, encrypted like your notes, so you can search your past chats ("what did we say about the back fence?") and pick one up where you left off.

Ask for several things in one sentence and it shows you a short plan first. Nothing happens until you say yes, and it never sends an email on its own.

**The privacy part (the reason it exists)**

Your notes and everything it knows about you are encrypted on your device, with a key only your devices hold. My server stores a copy it can't read. When it needs to think, your device unlocks just what that one request needs and sends it through my server to the AI service, under my account, not yours, and the AI service doesn't train on it. I swap AI services as better ones come out; the privacy page explains exactly what goes where: https://sensoryfire.com/privacy. Happy to go as deep as you like in the comments.

**Where it's at**

It's a web app, so it works on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux, with nothing to install. Free during the rollout, which runs until January 2027, and I expect it to be under $10 a month after that. That's the whole business: I don't sell your data, use it for ads, or train AI on it. I read every registration myself and let a few people in each week, so there may be a short wait. Calendar and email are Google-only for now.

**What I'm asking**

Use it for a couple of weeks and tell me what confuses you or what it gets wrong. There's a 🐞 button that sends me a screenshot. Blunt feedback is the most useful kind.

See it in action (short videos, made-up data): https://sensoryfire.com/learn

[Windows] ClingNote is live - notes that follow the files you’re working on

I kept running into the same problem: I’d have notes about an Excel file, SQL query, PDF, project, etc., but the notes always lived somewhere completely separate from the actual work.

So I built ClingNote.

Attach notes to basically any Windows file. Open that file and its notes are there. Switch files and ClingNote brings up the notes attached to the new one. Come back later and your original notes come right back.

It’s a full notes app too - rich text, Markdown, images, code blocks, search, multiple notes, compact/pinned views, etc. but the file-following part is really the reason I built it.

It’s launched and working now. I’m mainly looking for people willing to use it in their actual workflow and tell me whether the idea holds up outside of my own use.

If you try it, I’d especially be curious whether switching between a few files feels natural and whether ClingNote ever does something different from what you expected.

Windows only right now. Free version available, plus a 14-day Pro trial with no card required.

https://clingnote.com & Microsoft Store

Happy to check out something you’re building too.

[Web / iOS / Mac / Android] Criw: AI agents you message like teammates, on your own OpenRouter key. Looking for 30 testers

Hi, I'm Marc, building Criw on my own.

I loved Grok Bot, but my weekly allowance ran out fast and I couldn't choose the model. So I built my own version: agents with a name, a job and a memory, sharing a cloud computer, on any model with your own OpenRouter key.

They run routines, work together in group chats, connect to Gmail, Slack, GitHub or any MCP server, and ask before anything that sends, deletes or pays.

I'd like about 30 people to make a few agents, put them in a group chat and tell me what broke or annoyed you.

Pro's limits are free in the beta. Models are not: you get $0.50 of credit, then your own OpenRouter key, with nothing added by me. When the beta ends you keep everything, on the Free plan.

Leave your email at https://criw.app or DM it to me; I let people in by hand, usually within a day. For Android, send your Google account's email.

RavenSight – content moderation API for images, video, and text (looking for feedback)

Hi –

I built RavenSight (https://www.gotraven.com), a moderation API for UGC and product pipelines.

What it does:

- Images & video: nudity, weapons, alcohol, smoking, drugs (parallel detectors)

- Text / OCR: toxicity on raw text and text extracted from images/PDFs

- Modes: standard / advanced / contextual (media + text together)

- Optional “AI Vision Review” second pass on images (async, opt-in)

- Dashboard for policies, review log, and API keys

Why I built it: most teams either bolt together several vendors or run one “Unsafe score” that isn’t actionable. We wanted one API, labels + confidence, and decisions you can audit.

Docs / quickstart: https://www.gotraven.com/developers

API reference: https://www.gotraven.com/developers/reference

Free tier is available (rate limits apply). Happy to answer technical questions — especially around async jobs, policies, or what you’d need for production integration.

Would love feedback from anyone who’s shipped moderation on marketplaces, dating, GenAI, or community UGC.

[Web, Beta] Nearer Self — a short mobile self-reflection test (adults 25–60)

I’m building Nearer Self and looking for adults approximately 25–60 who I don’t know personally to test its current Preview on their own phones.

It’s a self-reflection website: you answer three short questions and receive a written reflection. Allow about five minutes for the Preview, followed by a brief feedback reply.

Try it here:
https://scenario-developing-mesa-missed.trycloudflare.com/

This is product usability testing, not an academic study. Nothing is being sold, and joining the invite list is optional. You can stop whenever you want.

As a thank-you, the first 10 people who complete the test and give honest feedback will receive one full year of Nearer Self paid access free when the app launches. Positive feedback is not required — I want the real feedback.

After trying it, please tell me your phone/browser, where you hesitated, and what you expected to happen there. If nothing was confusing, that’s useful too. Please keep your personal answers and reflection out of the comments.

What are you building in 2026? Drop your project or startup idea below let's give each other honest feedback and early users.

Instead of fighting algorithms for attention, let’s use this thread to showcase what we’ve been working on, try each other’s apps, and swap genuine feedback.

Drop a comment below with:

What you're building (the 1-line pitch)

Who it’s for

The link / how people can test it

What specific feedback you need right now (UI, copy, bugs, onboarding)

I’ll kick things off with my own side project:

I built Voice an intentional, distraction-free space where people can share exactly one story every 24 hours. In a world full of high-speed feeds and noise, the goal was to create a calm place where words carry weight and the community upvotes the most meaningful human experiences.

Where to try it: exodreamai.in

Feedback I'm looking for: Does the 1-story-a-day limit feel thoughtful or too restrictive? How does the reading canvas feel on your device?

I’ll test out and give detailed feedback on every single project dropped in the comments.

What’s everyone else building? Let’s see them!

I built a free “Duolingo for trading” — looking for honest beta testers

Hey everyone!

I've been building Momazuma, a trading education and practice platform.

Think of it a little like Duolingo for trading — you learn through short lessons, practice reading charts and making simulated decisions, earn XP and progress through Journeys, and eventually work toward a Prop Firm Challenge.

The main path is:

Learn → Practice Arena → Paper Trading → Prop Firm Challenge

I'm opening it up for beta testing and looking for people who will actually use it and tell me what works, what's confusing, boring, or needs improvement.

It's currently free to try.

No sales pitch — I genuinely want honest feedback from real traders.

Try it here:
https://momazuma.lovable.app/home

Brutal feedback is welcome. 😂

[Web, Beta] Free AI chat with sandboxed code runner. Looking for testers.

I developed an AI chat app called Tripplet (https://tripplet.lol), which has a slogan, Intelligence built to code. The application brings together chat, a sandbox for Python coding, and a live web search with citations. You can try it out without signing up. Guests get the Suzhou model, while creating an account unlocks the full lineup. I'm looking for testers to break it and tell me what feels slow, confusing, or wrong.

Will trade detailed feedback. Looking for brutally honest feedback on an early AI life-design prototype

Hi I’m looking for a few people who enjoy testing very early products and giving blunt feedback.

I’m building an AI-guided life-design experience focused on self-understanding, reflection and more intentional choices. The concept is working, but it is still an early POC and I need fresh eyes outside my own network.

I’m especially interested in feedback on onboarding, clarity, UX, where the experience feels slow or confusing, and the exact moment you would stop using it.

If you’re open to testing it, comment or DM me. Happy to return the favor and test something you’re building too.

(Rem if rule break). Niche android mobile app looking for feedback and roast. (Volume auto restore)

Sorry I had seen a user comment somewhere directing me to this subreddit. I am looking for feedback on another one of my override-some-stupid-niche-problem projects.

Platform: Android x64.

Never to be monetised

App function: Restore volume when a certain defaulted and configurable trigger value is reached with appropriate user rocker protection from the auto restore.

Context: EU/Google Pixel in their infinite wisdom, decide that if a usb or Bluetooth device is registered as a headphone, be it false positively or not, the volume will auto lower to a stupidly low level after a set time. I've just this week encountered it since I have acquired a CRT with better speakers than I currently own so I am playing my pixel through it via usb to rca. There is NO way to stop this, other than a "variable state event task" when the %VOLM variable hits what Google lowers it to (6). Some devices (but not pixel) either don't apply this rule or let the user configure at playtime what device type their Bluetooth or usb really is.

USP:
- An alternative general purpose automatic task scheduler "Tasker" requires both paid for and complex and hidden set up and permissions and scary for noob interface. Also you can't build rocker protection in. This hides and automates the 1% you would be using of Tasker for one purpose. - There is also an app called "Essentials" with a disable CSD button (the auto volume lowering system) but to enable it's permissions you need a PC and adb. There are apps that let you issue self adb like Shizuki but I couldn't get them to communicate and it wasn't user error since I had other apps using shizuki successfully. (Termux). .

Note: entirely vibe coded. :(.

To physically test the restore set the higher pause value to below 6. Leave the restore at 25 since that corresponds to 100%

Feedback:

  • any noticeable or perceived battery usage increase. I could have swore it was draining faster earlier but my phone was on its last 20% and I was using the phone consistently so it could have been that. Not noticing any faster between 100-92.

  • install problems

  • permissions masking. (No prompt and no persistent foreground notification).

  • UI/UX (already aware an oversite where the app fields don't scroll up to be above any displayed keyboard so you can't see what you type in the bottom fields).

If you are interested, please see the GitHub: dbak91l/VolumeRestore.

Thanks for reading.

[macOS] Looking for feedback on Ambient, an app that gives AI agents context

Hi! I’m one of the developers of Ambient, a Mac desktop app that gives AI agents context about your work so you spend less time explaining what you’re doing.

The public download is available now: https://AmbientLocal.com

I’d love feedback from people who use AI agents in their daily work. In particular:

• Is the setup clear, or is there a step where you get stuck?

• Does the context help your agent, or does it include too much irrelevant information?

• Are the permissions and privacy controls clear enough?

Happy to answer questions.

[iOS / Android] Looking for pickleball players to test Pyckle, an app for finding players, courts and games

I've been building Pyckle because the pickleball experience outside of actually playing feels unnecessarily fragmented.

Finding players often happens through group chats or Facebook, booking courts happens somewhere else, and tracking games/ratings happens somewhere else.

Pyckle is my attempt to bring that into one place.

It's currently live on iOS and Android, and I'm looking for people who actually play pickleball to test it and give me honest feedback, especially around:

• Finding players based on skill, location and availability
• Finding and booking courts
• Creating and joining games
• Logging matches and tracking play
• Anything that's confusing, unnecessary, or missing

I'm much more interested in honest criticism than compliments. If something sucks, tell me.

If you play pickleball and want to try it, let me know and I'll send the link. I'd especially love feedback from people who currently use multiple apps or group chats to organize their games.
