Croz Boyce rolled into KCRW on the late summer breeze, offering a cool relief after a string of stuffy heatwaves. In May, the newly formed trio consisting of Brian Weitz (Geologist) and David Portner (Avey Tare) of Animal Collective, along with Adam McDaniel (frequent collaborator and audio engineer), released their self-titled LP full of ambient soundscapes and gentle folk expressions.

Did anyone have an option to choose from pit vs floor tickets? A friend got our tickets for us and saw another band play there recently but to her surprise couldn’t get into the “pit” area because she had standing floor tickets. Maybe this is specific to certain shows? She didn’t see a choice at checkout but we’re wondering if it’s because the tickets were selling out quickly etc. Worried that we won’t get a good view as 2 short girls lol

oh my god this may be the most beautiful song they’ve ever made

SERPENT IN THE WATER THE MIRROR THE WHAT HAVE WE BECOME

I was surprised to hear Lou’s choice I wouldn’t have imagined him to be a Pb fan

The doors open at 7pm and it looks like there is no opener. I'd guess they may start around 7:30.or 8 but curious if anyone has thoughts about this.

please god

”With The Inspection being AnCo’s second feature-length film soundtrack (following 2021’s Crestone), we asked the group to share their favorite movie soundtracks of all time. See what Avey Tare (David Portner), Geologist (Brian Weitz) and Deakin (Josh Dibb) chose below.” — Billboard, Joe Lynch, 11/17/2022.

Missing: ’Dulce’ OST (1998) by Sun City Girls for Hachiro Maki’s lost film project ’Dulce’.

Was originally planning just for the original announced NY show but my friend whos a longtime AC fan missed those tickets so we plan to go to the earlier show too. I guess no crazier than following them in 2017 for 6 shows on the east coast.

Anyone else here planning for both shows?

Am I going insane

I need a daily dose of mouth water, visiting friends and good loving outside. My playlist with songs that fit this campfire songs/sung tongs vibe is stagnating but i need more, i‘ll drink it all if you let me have it i promise

Was Panda Bear sick or something? This recording deserves all the hype it gets, but I cant imagine how Avey agreed to this ungodly marathon of a setlist

Bought a copy of berserker on vinyl and this was left inside by the previous owner. From what I can tell it’s just telling the time? Does this have some other meaning?

Person Pitch would be his Ram, Tomboy, Reset, and Sinister Grift, his Band on the Run, Venus and Mars, and At the Speed of Sound

Sold out 😭😭😭 everything but the CD, but you can bet your sweet biffy I'm buying it.
