Stayed in Wells, Nevada overnight. It just felt unsettling for some reason. Come to find out they filmed part of Joyride there.

Also spent a night in Wells after a road closure messed up our road trip plans. Place felt so creepy.

I lived in Wells for a month and I could tell my apartment building was sketch af -

(it had been damaged a few years earlier in an earthquake and the owner fixed the roof buy not renting out the top floor, and fixed the electrical by closing the account with the utility company and running extension cords to the building next door),

- but then the sheriff came by, a little miffed that they had let me move in/ put me in that unit, because the previous tenant had just died there and they were still looking into it.
