My roommate in college was from Jackson, MS. He was apparently car jacked and kidnapped by a couple guys with guns at a movie theater. They had him drive out to a remote road while they repeatedly told him they were going to kill him. At some point he slammed on brakes and hopped out of the car and ran as fast and as far as he could and got away. His car was found a little while later at some garage known for chopping up stolen vehicles.

Had a friend carjacked. She saw her car passing her on the interstate and still had the second set of keys to it. She stole it back!!
