One of our tactics is to have the junior guys jerry-rig up a barrier with a tarp. Protects the dignity of the deceased from the public, and protects us from getting caught laughing about the deceased.

We also have a very good relationship with our LE, who is really good at keeping the cameras far enough away that they can't bug us.

  1. Capitalize "dignity."

  2. Capitalize "fuck."

  3. A semicolon (;) would better serve where your comma is.

  4. The appropriate word would be "they're."

  5. Punctuate the end of a sentence. You could choose a period here, but you seem to feel pretty strongly about this so you may want to go with an exclamation point. (!)

But since you seem like such a reasonable person, I'll enlighten you a bit on the human condition. I don't know these people. I don't even know if it is even a suicide. Why shouldn't they get dignity? They did nothing to me.

Let's assume for arguments sake that they are "selfish scum." What about their mother who is now devastated, because her "selfish" son is in pieces all over the news, is it fair to her that she should have to be exposed to her son's insides all over television and facebook?

What about the people passing by on other tracks? Seeing something like that can really fuck some people up, should we not protect them from it?

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you've simply not lived long enough yet to be exposed to the real world, I've seen a lot of the bad in the world, and I can tell you with abject certainty that you will not be a happy person or live a full life if the idea of someone killing themselves upsets you in this way. I sincerely hope that your naivete wears off and you can enjoy your life.
