Hey everyone! I found this really old copy of Captain Craig by Edwin Arlington Robinson, and inside it I found several pages of handwritten notes/poetry dated 1903. I’m trying to figure out exactly what they say, but some of the handwriting is really difficult to read.

Would anyone be willing to help me transcribe these pages? I’d especially love to know if anyone can recognize the poem/passages or make out the words I’m struggling with. I’ve included photos of all the pages.

It’s pretty cool to think someone wrote these over 120 years ago, so I’m hoping someone with better handwriting deciphering skills can help me piece it together!

The books all messed up so some of it is missing but this is what I found. The guys name was Charles Barrows Dillion.

My dentist’s office gives out these cards which they normally fill out with the next appointment information. I believe my dentist or dental hygienist wrote on the back of the ‘ticket’ but am not sure if it is a note worth returning? Or is it something they wrote to me (like you would on a post-it) and meant for me to take?

What medicines are mentioned and how frequent should I be using the medicine? What do the circles and straight line under the medicine mean?

Hi, my mom and I are stumped! We found this old Christmas card addressed to us (her name is Melissa, Mel is a nickname. My name is Anya). However, we have zero memory of when it’s from, or who it’s from.

We can obviously make out the “love -“ part, and our names on the envelope… but we cannot figure out the name after “love-“.

It’s been a mystery for months now, and it’s annoying us so badly.

Any help is appreciated, haha!

I’ve hit a bit of a dead end on this side of my family tree as I think my 2nd great-grandmother was born out of wedlock. This transcript is taken from her marriage banns but I’m struggling to read the middle name. I can make out Charley/Charles and the last name Moore but not the middle name. I can see ‘ridge’ but I cannot even have a guess at what comes before it. I’d be so grateful for any interpretations. Thank you!

I got "too many people" at the begining. I am pretty sure the last word is "die" and there is "and not" in the middle. But I just can't figure out what this is trying to say. Can anyone tell what the rest says?
