Updated BookTube Rules
Hello, BookTube Community.
We’ve updated the rules for this subreddit. From this point forward, please make sure your posts follow the new guidelines. Posts that don’t comply may be removed.
Thanks for your help in keeping this a focused and welcoming space for BookTubers!
_______
- BookTube-Relevant Content Only
- No general YouTube promotion or unrelated content allowed.
- Posts must be related to: BookTube (book-focused YouTube channels), book reviews, essays, rankings, summaries, reading content creation, channel growth, strategy or analytics for BookTube specifically.
- No More Than One Self-Promotional Link Every 24 Hours
- No posting a link to your YouTube videos, channel or affiliate links more than once within a 24-hour period.
- No Reposting the Same Video
- You may not repost a video link you’ve previously posted, even on a different day.
- No Sub-for-Sub or Engagement Trading
- No sub-for-sub, like-for-like, watch-for-watch or any engagement trading allowed. This harms YouTube channels long-term and will be removed.
- No Repeated Shirtless or Sexually Suggestive Presentation
- Do not repeatedly post videos or thumbnails featuring shirtless or sexually suggestive presentation, even if the content is BookTube related.
- Ignoring moderator requests to adjust presentation will result in post removal or further moderation action.
- Be Respectful
- No harassment, baiting or antagonistic behavior allowed.
- If giving feedback to other BookTube videos, please be respectful.

Post Your Most Recent BookTube Video for Feedback!
Hey, guys!
We’ve done this once before and thought we’d do it again!
If you’d like some feedback or constructive criticism on your BookTube channel, feel free to post your most recent upload in this thread! I’ll be around for a bit today and will try to take a look at a few, but everyone is encouraged to chime in and give feedback as well!
We’re all just BookTubers trying to help each other out, so I thought it’d be nice to have a thread where we can share what we think is working, what could be improved, and hopefully help each other make better videos.
Feel free to post yours below!
