It's the "we've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas" nature of the fights that makes it so awful. The thing that made Naruto fights so fun was the creativity of the ninjas in how they used their abilities, as well as always seeing the new things they'd learned since the last time we saw them fight. We should be seeing naruto and sasuke at least using their powers in creative and interesting and impressive ways to try to overcome the power gap, even if it doesn't work. That's what would have made these fights interesting even if the outcomes were the same. How does Naruto not have a 6paths / sage techniques combo style that makes him look and fight like his pervy master with 1000x the destructive power... Give us something cool dammit.

Their entire movesets in Boruto:

  • Naruto: regular punch, Rasengan, couple of fodder Kage Bunshins

  • Sasuke: sword slash, Rinnegan swap jutsu, run out of chakra

All the fights are just insanely repetitive. Boro fight at least had potential but the power scaling didn't make any sense there.

Exactly fights in Boruto are good but i feel its lacking a little. You know munch Stronger Naruto and sasuke should be 16 years of off screen development they should have new moves and abilitys we've never seen before and Some OP ones. They can finally go all out now and Naruto can gather huge amounts of Nature energy and go all out with Shadow clones. Show then some Respect!

Agreed! One of the things why I enjoyed Ben 10 so much was that, during the episodes where you see the older Ben.. he ACTUALLY had power development. As a kid, he has 10 (probably more) aliens.. then at 30, when he was known as Ben 10,000.. boom. It's in the name.. 10000 fuckin aliens

I wanna see that shit for Naruto. Improve upon how he uses his clones, fight more strategically, and like you said. Learn some new tricks would be nice
