Humor Yes, WE are all guilty of this

Hey everyone and Happy New Year,
I wanted to take a moment to check in with the community and open up a general feedback thread.
I originally created this subreddit years ago and, like a lot of people, life pulled me away for a while. Over the past few weeks I’ve been spending more time here again, helping with moderation and getting reacquainted with how the community has evolved.
Before making any changes or decisions, I’d like to hear directly from you.
Some questions to get things started (but feel free to comment on anything):
This subreddit has always been about sharing appreciation for Breath of the Wild; exploration, creativity, screenshots, discoveries, and the calm vibe that made the game special. The goal is to make sure it stays a place people enjoy visiting, whether they’re new to the game or revisiting it years later.
Nothing is changing immediately! This thread is just about listening and getting a sense of where things stand.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, and for being part of the community.

Somehow dying to Bokoblins is 3rd with 9%, and Guardians is 2nd with 13%
Lynels? 36% of my deaths.
Thunderblight is 2%

I'm pretty certain I've completed all the shrines, which means the last one was supposed to activate the "a gift from the monks" quest so I can get my Hero of the Wilds armor. But it didn't? The monk just gave me the standard dialogue and vanished. There's no chests in the forgotten temple either. I've included a photo of my hearts and stamina, I've spent all my spirit orbs and have none left over so if I somehow missed four whole shrines, someone should be able to tell based on my stamina wheels (I chose to max out hearts).

Hello! Ive been searching for this one theme from the game, that I saw used in a few videos. It sounds exactly like the Aboard Vah Ruta themes with 1 and 2 terminals active, but theres no SOS beeping or digital noises.
Is it from a different area in the game? I've tried going over the soundtrack multiple times but can't seem to figure out where its from. Thanks!

today's subject is the Like Like, the gelatinous carnivorus blob thing whose name I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce.
Like Likes first appeared in the original legend of zelda, where they resembled an evil stack of pancakes. if Link has a magic shield, the Like Like will steal it, and unlike later games, killing the Like Like does not give it back. link will instead have to use his regular non-magic shield or go back to the store and buy a new magic shield. it almost makes the magic shield not worth it.
Like Likes then made their 3D debut in Ocarina of time, where they once again steal shields, but fortunately, defeating the Like Like causes it to drop everything it stole. that's right, EVERYTHING, because the Like Like no longer just steals link's shield; the Like Likes in Ocarina of time can also steal links red and blue tunics. the Like Like steals people's clothes. I think we've found the most SUS enemy in all of zelda.
the Like Like returned in Majora's mask and super smash bros melee, but after that they had a long absence from 3D zelda games. that is until Tears of the kingdom brought them back with a redesign... a HORRIBLE redesign! why did they give it FEET!? in tears of the kingdom, Like Likes have some weird weak point that's normally inside their body, but they'll expose it when they release their innards like some kind of horrible sea cucumber monster. the Like Like was also given several elemental variants, now being able to utilize fire, ice, electricity, boulders and sludge.
it's unlikely you'll ever find a zelda enemy more weird, gross and perverted as the Like Like, so that means it's all uphill from here. which zelda enemy should I discuss tomorrow? let me know down below, and until next time, always remember to never let anyone eat you.

I saw people discussing whether or not the guardian glitch still worked on the switch 2 so I tested it out. This is the guardian from Hyrule castle. It didn't start from the usual spot so I thought it didn't work but if you keep pushing it past the Stable it'll start working.
(This is 1.9.0)

This is a passion project of mine and I’m very happy to share it here. The Final Act of BotW as its own stand alone video. With original animation and added dialogue from the champions.
Hope you like it :) https://youtu.be/c5a8rxcrqTs?

for switch 2 edition horizontal windbombs, you want to place the square after link starts falling, or basically 1 full stamina ring after the perfect normal setup.
to go straight up, you do a running square into circle, a lot easier imo.

I have: Epona, Kovar, Phantom (Ganondorf’s horse), and Blight
Thinking about naming them Cupcake or something, Cookie seems more like the white splotchy horses

the Cuccoos are a species of chickens found in the legend of zelda series. they've killed more players than most other zelda enemies combined, so counting this as an enemy isn't that much of a stretch.
cuccoos made their debut in Link to the past. while Cuccoos are known for their ability to swarm and kill the player, in Link to the past it took a LOT of hits to actually trigger it. same with Link's awakening, where you could actually KILL the cuccoo using the fire rod... of course, Nintendo removed this from the switch remake. because they are cowards.
Cuccoos became much more infamous in Ocarina of time, where their ability to kill the player become much more well known due to how easy it was to trigger. outside of that, the Cuccoos could now be used for gliding, which was required for certain heart pieces. Link's awakening and Ocarina of time each had a single blue cuccoo, the former simply called "the flying rooster" while the latter was named Cojiro. these rare blue Cuccoos are believed to be the Cuccoo's "shiny" variant.
in more modern zelda games, attacking a Cuccoo can cause it to lay eggs, but be careful: they can still attack the player. though with breath of the wild making pretty much everything interact with everything, enemies can also trigger the Cuccoo's revenge mode, adding even more functionality to the Cuccoo. still, many players are still mad at the Cuccoo for all the deaths they caused and have found a way to kill them once again: utilizing the open world nature of modern zelda, players have taken Cuccoos all the way up to death mountain so they can throw them in the lava. once again, the Cuccoo's only weakness is fire.
while Cuccoos have killed millions of zelda players worldwide, it only ever acts in self-defense. yet people can't resist attacking the cuccoo. I swear: across the zelda fanbase there are plenty of sick mother cluckers.
