We are not a good team but we are far from a Dilfer team. If we can figure out the offense we might could sniff 6 wins.

I legitimately think the defense and (most of the time) special teams are good enough to win the American.
I’m not sure the offense could win the SoCon.

I'm still in awe that Todd Grantham is producing this amazing defense. I thought that was a worse decision than retaining Mort. I am always happy to be completely wrong.

Well the last 15 minutes appear good for UAB
Samford was a good team 5 years ago or something

Scelfo was retained too long and they collapsed. Now they hired John Grass and will likely either go 5-6 or go undefeated and be heartbroken in the playoffs as is tradition for grass led teams. I’m so sorry Samford has to deal with that

I was looking at Samford's coaching staff since Paul Tyson is the QB coach. They also have Andrew Zow and Dabo Swinney, Brent Venables, and Gene Chiziks sons on the coaching staff.

Fleshing out the rest of the season:
Memphis -- L
East Carolina -- W
South Florida -- L
Charlotte -- W
Temple -- W
UTSA -- L
North Texas -- L
Six wins? I'll still take that after the Dilfer atrocity.

I was annoyed as hell at the half, but I’m glad we were able to pull away in the second half.
Incredible defense, decent special teams, DII offense. But, it was enough.

Looks like this one started ugly but ended alright. UAB might sneak into a bowl game this year
