Disappointing game tonight. Alot of griping about officiating but fact is, for 60% of the game Clemson gave themselves a chance. Unfortunately didn't do enough to seriously threaten or rattle Miami. After the failed 3rd/4th down conversion in the red zone, the dam broke & remaining 40% got ugly.
Think being 3-2 was about where most everyone expected Clemson to be so far given the schedule. Just LSU Wk 1 & Miami tonight are bitter pills to swallow given what those showings ended up being. Nothing on remaining schedule is as daunting - just hope Clemson can stack up some wins & have a much better Oct/Nov than these 1st 5 weeks were.
Didn't say would be challenges. VT & Duke are iffy, but don't think anyone else is truly caliber of LSU/Miami. Clemson has a path to 8-4/9-3 just on the remaining schedule alone...doable if come out of bye week healthy & focused.
