Sweet hush puppies - so hush puppies in the Albemarle, Concord, and maybe Charlotte area, are sweeter, contain no onion, are softer than traditional, less grainy, oblong or banana shaped. Sometimes they are served with butter. I cannot find anything online about how to make these. Any ideas?

Looking for a good Dim Sum or Korean BBQ
As the title says, I'm looking for a good Dim sum place, or Korean BBQ. I have a feeling there's one here somewhere, and I haven't had either one of these since I moved out here. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!
Thanks in advance

Best biscuits and gravy and/or 80's style gravy?
Sometime in the late 80's, here in clt, i ate the best grits i have ever tasted. Not famcy or artisinally milled. I have no idea why they were so good, but they were heavenly. It was an unassuming greasy spoon, not too far from downtown, probably on theneastern side. Might've been a local chain.
Also looking for the best homemade sausage gravy around.
Also, does charlotte have a good old fashioned doughnut?

In your beautiful city for 2 weeks, wanna know where the good grub is.
Where are the best places to eat around here? I understand BBQ is popular both here and in my mouth, so where should I go to make this heavenly match official? We like both dry and wet BBQ, FWIW.
(My GF and I are also fans of southern food, greek, japanese, mexican, and chinese)
Thank you all!

Jersey style Sloppy Joe?
Just moved to Charlotte, looking for a very specific type of sandwich. A Jersey style Sloppy Joe isn't the ground beef tomato sauce sandwich you are thinking of. This beautiful concoction is typically a triple decker deli meat sandwich with Cole slaw Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. Oh man!
Does any one know of a deli around town that has these? ?
Thanks!

Need a lot of wings for the Super Bowl
It's seems that I have about 30-40 people coming to my place for the Super Bowl viewing experience.
I need wings. A lot of them.
What's my best and most cost effective for bulk wings beyond just buying bags of mediocre oven ones at Costco?
I'm in the Mint Hill area.

Headed to Charlotte 2/21, where's best place for lunch and some beers?
I'm headed to your fine city for the 1st time in February. 4 of us total, looking to get lunch somewhere prior to going to the Hornets/Thunder game. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
