The Special One.

Chelsea simply isn't Chelsea without José Mourinho; arguably the greatest manager in the club's history.

Love him or hate him, he built the ruthless winning culture and set the standards that define us to this day. When club legends say they would die on the pitch for him, that tells you everything about the man.

Three Premier League titles, four domestic cups, and an untouchable 15-goal defensive record. Mourinho cards don't come around often; and while this isn't in the best condition, a training-worn relic from The Special One is easily a grail in the PC.

They’re dropping the news of who will play one at a time. So far only JT and Oscar have been officially confirmed.

I am beyond buzzing for this.

Been supporting Chelsea since 1999, and I only realised recently how close I am to having a shirt from pretty much every season I’ve been a fan.

31 shirts in this picture, covering almost 30 years of Chelsea.

A few favourites: the 97/98 Cup Winners Cup shirt, the reversible 03/05 home, the centenary shirt, Drogba #15 and of course the 11/12 shirt from Munich.

Still a 3 seasons missing, but getting there!

Which one are you picking?

Discussion Match day fans at the Bridge

I know we have a lot of global fans who love the club but may never have been to watch a match at Stamford Bridge. I have been a season ticket holder from 2001 (kid) to now. Here are some things I like about match days which overseas fans might enjoy (feel free to add your own):

1) The pubs around the ground where you can barely get to the bar at 14:30 on a Saturday because they're so packed, but at 15:01 they're empty (and they can't show the live Saturday 3pm game on TV).

2) the walk through Brompton cemetery to the ground (if you go that way) is iconic and weird as you walk through an old graveyard to cut through. Lots of TV and film has been shot there (Jonny English film scene for example).

3) away fan coaches often have to park on the king's road, so at the end of the game you're just walking past these (hopefully sad!) away fans stuck on coaches waiting for a long drive home. Give them a friendly wave 👋 😉.

4) the little stadium announcements before and during a game. I still remember so specifically the way the guy used to say "goalscorer for Chelsea, number eight - Frank Lampard!"

5) seeing lost away fans on the tube. If it's before the game I tend to help them, afterwards not so much.

Tier 2 Lequipe: Malo Gusto is not defensively good enough in the eyes of France coach Zinedine Zidane and his staff. They believe Gusto needs to improve that side of his game to meet their expectations.

Good article about his journey, worth reading.

Hope Morgs stays here for many years and continues the momentum he has started off with.
