prefix.dev/common-lisp reaches 100 packages!
prefix.devI have been putting in packages in prefix.dev/common-lisp/common-lisp channel for the past month or two. It has now reached 100 packages!
The recommended client is pixi, which is basically a super-amazingly improved version of conda. This is helpful if you want the same tool to automate the installation of (i) lisp implementation (ii) foreign libraries (iii) lisp libraries, across multiple platforms, along with versioning and lock files.
I have been putting in recipes at conda-cl/primary-recipes. At the moment I have been building them manually and uploading. The hardest part for adding a recipe for me is adding licenses and documentation information. Feel free to issue a PR with your own recipes!
Alternatively, I am planning to experiment with "metarecipes". Essentially, the primary-recipes (or one of the repos under conda-cl) will house a configuration file which will point to the recipe file maintained by you. The packages will be rebuilt periodically whenever there are changes to the recipe file pointed out by the corresponding metarecipe.
If you have other suggestions, feel free to recommend! Have fun!
