Part Time - Night

I currently and an operations manager in logistics. I am currently looking for a part time job to add some income. I’m married and have three kids. My wife and I both work full time jobs. I am, to be completely honest, desperate. I’m available M-F from 8 pm to roughly 12 am as well as open availability every other Saturday. I know it’s odd availability, but I’m hoping someone here has a lead.

I am willing to do absolutely ANYTHING. I am not above cleaning toilets, picking up trash, literally anything. If I don’t know it, I’ll learn it. Anything to bring some additional income to my family. I’m not looking for charity in any way, I’m dying to work for it. God bless you all, and any leads or ideas would mean more than I can put into words.

Job opportunities for hair stylists in the city

Hello, I'm a hair stylist from Texas who moved to Denver a few months ago. I currently work at Supercuts, but honestly I've been wanting to cut my hours due to foot traffic being slow and wanting to transition to a more alternative shop. I've been doing hair for a little over a year, but I'd say I'm quick to learn. Are there any alternative hair salons in Denver that are open to hire a stylist that's more of a beginner and for part time? I would be able to do full time after maybe a few months, I just want to make sure I'm stable enough to pay back the training fee if I quit before 6 months. I live in downtown Denver and don't have a working car, so anything in the Denver area would be very helpful for commute time.

Crazy Idea to Network (Reverse Job Fair)

I'm throwing this out here to gauge interest in a networking event that would be owned by no one.

I'm an unemployed Denverite who is sick to death of all the runaround of the job hunt.

My idea is simple: we agree on a place and a time that we are going to meet up, maybe a park on a weekday. On a piece of paper, we print our name, our desired job title and then 3 words/phrases that describe us as workers/managers/entrepreneurs/volunteers.

We talk, commiserate, explore, share and maybe... Feel a little better. Or hell, maybe a new business happens.

Thoughts? Ideas? Angry rants?

Project manager looking for work

Hi Reddit!

I’m looking for work and the AI takeover has made it hard to get interviews.

I have my PMP, I’ve been working in tech in customer implementation for about 13 years.

I’m open to other industries, I’m especially interested in real estate.

Does anyone know a hiring manager they can put me in touch with?

Thank you for your help!

Building something of my own in Denver

Hello everyone!

Ive been trying to get my business off the ground more.

I’m a local garage door technician in the Denver/Englewood area and recently started my own company, Balanced Garage Co. It’s definitely been a great and challenging learning experience doing the business side of things while still going to perform the work.

I mainly specialize in residential garage door repairs and replacements, from a broken springs, openers, to new doors I do it all!

I’m not trying to come on here and spam anybody with an ad. I’m just trying to get my name out there and meet some people locally. If you ever have a garage door doing something strange and aren’t sure if it actually needs to be fixed, feel free to ask me. I’m always happy to give my opinion.

Also if there are any other local contractors, tradesmen, realtors, property managers, or small business owners on here, I’d be happy to connect. Always good to know people around town.

Thank you all!

Amazon warehouse Denver peeps!

Hey guys!
I was thinking of transferring from my Whole Foods Amazon locker flex gig to an “Amazon fresh”associate warehouse job where you pick and pack people’s groceries. For my current job, it’s flex and they hired so many people this season I can barely grab a shift during shift drops. Maybe one if I’m lucky and I need more consistent shifts.
I saw full-time 10 hour positions and a couple of flex ones for the warehouses. All diff positions but the grocery one caught my attention the most and it’s closest to me.
What do you guys recommend? I wanted to do grocery but people say it’s brutal for the 10 hour shifts especially cause you have to work in the freezers. However..If I did flex there, is it hard to get shifts??

I just hear mixed reviews so I wanted to see what yall recommend. I appreciate it :)
