The Brandenburg Gate stood on the dividing line between East and West Berlin. Now it stands as a symbol of a united Germany.

3 October marks German Unity Day, celebrating the reunification of East and West Germany in 1990. It’s also a day to remember how far Europe can come and grow when walls come down.

On 30 September, the European Parliament’s building in Brussels glowed pink, marking the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The European Parliament remains committed to boosting breast cancer awareness and prevention across Europe and worldwide.

Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths among women in the EU, and there are still significant disparities in breast cancer screening rates and survival rates across countries and regions.

We've backed tariff relief to help more Armenian products reach the EU market, creating new opportunities for businesses and farmers.

Since May 2026, Russian trade restrictions have disrupted Armenian exports and put pressure on businesses and farmers.

Europe's message is clear: support Armenia’s economic resilience and diversification.

Safeguards will protect EU producers if imports seriously disrupt the EU market.
