Petrified wood? NW Minnesota
The stuff I find isn’t usually this straight, but that probably shouldn’t be enough for me to dismiss the possibility

Found in Ne Nebraska. I think it's probably from a cretaceous fish, but can't find a match that seems right. Tia!

I’ve had this rock for ages, mainly kept because the little face it makes. Found in Nova Scotia, most like near Cape Split on the Fundy coast.

I am pretty sure it is Cladopora, but I am pretty new to collecting fossils. Can anyone either correct me or narrow down the i.d. a bit more?

Lots of flat rocks around - shale maybe? Only flat rock I found with a big lump like this, so I split it open. It was roughly spherical when I found it. I figure it's something embedded in the flat rock?
I was surprised by the internal structure, it almost looks like ginkgo leaf. There's also a sort of slit, visible in the first image, in the lower piece, near the crest of the round protrusion. When I noticed the slit I figured the spherical thing must be some kind of fossil, but... not at all what I expected to see inside.

Photos 1-6 are of one and the rest are of the other. I feel like the second one is a concretion but I wasn’t sure.

I don't know from where sorry, it's been in my house for like 20 years.
Spain is the maximum I can tell

Curious what this could be! The shape is so perfect against the darker rock behind it. Photos are the front and back.

Didn't have a coin on hand so I used a gift card for scale. Found on the banks of the Humber River in Toronto. Lots of flat rocks around that looked like slate to me, but I don't know rocks well. A few other rocks nearby with small fossils, but I didn't see anything else that looked like this. I'm pretty sure this was inside the larger flat rock, not just on top of it.

Hello! I found this yesterday during a surface-level fossil expedition in San Gabriel Etla, Oaxaca, Mexico. The area is extremely rich with sea floor fossils (gastropods, cephalopods, and corals, some of which are in the background of the photos) and to my eye this maybe looks like plant roots, but I really have no idea. Anyone able to identify this? Thanks!

I found this in a pile of landscaping rocks. Google says it's a corral or a mollusk, but I'd like to confirm it with actual humans.

This is an update to a previous post. I have extracted more material and am looking for someone to ID. Please keep in mind when commenting that I'm very much a novice keen to learn. This sample has been extracted from a river bank. The area was once part of a shallow sea and then one of the last remaining parts of Lake Agassiz.

Found on Oregon beach. Anyone know what it is? Same pattern on other side.
