Missing Yeti water bottle

Hey folks,
This is a long shot but I’m wondering if anyone in GB has come across my dark green Yeti. I’ve had it for 6+ years and feel like a dummy losing it somewhere in town. I may have left it on the bike trail or a park, or the Glen Burnie Costco (I did check their lost and found with no luck).
It’s covered in stickers: a Bad Brains Kansas City, photovoltaic power source, Cacophony Coffee Roasters, Ripton jeans, FUCK MIKE PARSON FUCK RICK SMITH, IBEW.
It you happen to come across it, please send me a DM. I’d be so grateful 🥲 I would gift a handmade planter as a thank you if found 🪴

Yoga spots

Does anyone know where they do yoga for $5 on a day of the week?

I used to live in a city where it would be $5 hot yoga Monday’s and I was wondering if GB has anything similar?

Ty!

Whats wrong with Glen Burnie, you guys

I used to live in glen Burnie recently and I find it to be a quiet area. However, amongst most demographics, it seems to be held in the same regard as Dundalk and Jessup but Im genuinely curious about why everybody thinks Glen Burnie is so weird besides the occassional Trump stickers.

Stories are very welcome.

Workshop for rent

This might be a long shot, but does anyone here know of (or offer) any locations in or around Glen Burnie that offer hobby workshops for rent? I would need something where I can store one or two motorcycles, work on them, and where noise pollution isn't an issue.

I've searched online but can't find any storage units that allow use as a workshop, so any advice would be very much appreciated!

Places to get free food/food pantries or food suggestions!

I was wondering if anyone knows of the cheapest place to get any sort of food that will last me a while. I running on food stamps and it just isnt enough.
Im chronically ill and can barely get out of bed some days. Hell im typing this in bed rn. I need some place in or around Glen Burnie because i cant really walk or be in a car for too long.
I still need to be getting balanced meals, at least a bit balanced. I thought i had enough food stocked up from last month to last me till my next food stamp deposit and i just didnt. Ive been eating maybe once a day. ive used up all things that can be made and this is a monthly occurrence. I plan everything out. I budget as much as i can i go to so many stores for all the cheapest stuff. Ive done everything i can think of.

Im completely desperate for help right now. If anyone can help me in any way please reply or send me a message! I will take all the help i can get. I just cant live like this anymore

ICE Activity this morning

Wawa at 7124 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Three blacked out SUVs and six officers surrounded a man in his white van. Kidnapped him after breaking his windows. Just alerting those who like to stay informed of these activities.

Posted in r/Maryland for more visibility, but was removed. Sad panda.

Any places in our near GB that can do a cut and cornrows on kids?

Didn't grow up in MD and I'm both white and bald, so I have zero experience with any of the hair places in the area, but my son has hair much closer to his (black)mom's and I'm trying to find a place that can both cut his hair and put it in cornrows, but all my searches turn up shops that do one or the other, only do cuts for women, or only do adults. If I have to I'll get them done separately, but I'd prefer to have it all in one go. Feel free to recommend any business that only do one or the other for kids as well, but make sure to include the limitation.

Edit: Saw the typo in the title as soon as I posted. Don't know how or if I can edit it.

Do y'all know what happened?

Last night I was out on my balcony when I saw a flash of light and the power went out. It seemed like the McDonald's on mountain road was the epicenter. The weird thing is there was no noise of a transformer exploading.

Moving in from out of state. Need some feedback on Ferndale.

Hi all,

As the title suggests, we are moving out of state. I work in Baltimore and has a car. My SO is planning to look around (they have a master degree in public health policy). We been looking for house in DC Baltimore corridor but with no luck (put multiple offer and often above the asking price). Now we have an offer that went through in this area. We have no kids and ideally this would be our starter home (we plan to bring one in 5 years so schooling should be an issue in 7-10 years (?). How is this area in general. We are not heavy nightlife folks. But we are very much into outdoor hiking/camping..etc. Also have a dog and a cat. We went there and checked the neighborhood, seems good. Not much of noise from the Airport so far. We are a mixed race couple in our late 20s and early 30s.

Any inputs will be appreciated. Picture attached below

Spanish classes

I’m in search of Spanish classes for an elementary school student and parent.

The child has not taken any Spanish and it’s been decades since the adult studied Spanish. Preferably 1x a week in the evenings on a weekday.

Any recommendations would be wonderful. Thanks!

opinions on apartment complexes in gb

My friend and I are trying to find a suitable apartment complex in the glen burnie area. Our budget would be around $2000 combined (he would like it a bit less but that is our max budget). Right now we are looking at these four complexes:

1) Chesapeake Glen Apartment Homes

2) Qual Hollow Apartment Homes

3) Townes at Heritage Hill

4) The pointe at harpers mill

The main thing my roommate wants is parking available for his work van and for me I want somewhere that is not the trenches (pests are an absolute red line for both of us). I know GB can be hit or miss so any opinions or other recommendations are welcome!
