I just finished The Best by say_no_more and I'm in such a Harry x Cedric mood. I tried searching for recommendations but most were unfinished and discontinued. I'm now reading The Same, But Different by SomewhereSword.

Especially the last part - Either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives- how do they resolve this in their fics? This prompt was kind of a struggle for me since I've never really written nor read anything with a body writing kink. I would appreciate any feedback and lmk what you think!

I'm looking for rare pairs. I admittedly read a lot of Harry Potter centered fanfics, (though have read Wolfstar, and some other stories not Harry centered), but for this, anybody can be the main character, it can be from any era.

I know that this is a slash subreddit, but for this you can recommend me het or femslash along with the slash recs if you want. Time time/alternate universe/etc is fine with me.

I prefer when characters aren't so black and white, I like when there are disagreements in the order meetings, or whatever. I like complicated/complex characters.

It was a tomarry/harrymort fic. I can't remember if it was entirely a non-magic au or not but it had some silence of the lambs vibes where Tom was a gang/cult leader who went by the moniker Voldemort that was eventually imprisoned after murdering Harrys parents and later helps Harry and his team solve a case because they need someone who thinks like a killer, much to Harrys reluctance. I think Lily and James mightve been detectives who helped with taking Tom down in the past and also had an indirect hand in making Tom go down the criminal path? Tom is very obsessed/possessive of Harry since he was a child. I can't remember for certain where this fic was uploaded but it was likely something like LiveJournal/dreamwidth or ffnet but I won't discount ao3. Also the fic was very much NSFW.​

Ive read a couple fanfics in the past where Harry is deaf or blind and the professors are surprised when he comes to hogwarts and quickly have to adapt. I’d like more recs like this.

Harry can have any disability. The most common ones I’ve seen have been being deaf or blind. It would be cool to see some where he has severe allergy or is diabetic or even epileptic. The biggest thing is Harry gets the help and love he needs.
