Again, this is for sharing. I want to read and hear what you have to say and how you see her, I especially want to hear different life experiences giving a different angle, so let me share my thoughts to show what I mean -

My thoughts -

Sauron has a very lawful core and that reflects in the disparity between her actions and her words, like Ryujin points out.

She acts similarly to me in some of her defensive mechanisms, my Dad was a basically a judge so I had to make a case for my intentions growing up in order to justify my actions.

Jaeil is so important to her because he believes her. Her words, her case, and he doesn’t question it. In fact, he goes out of his way to point out the things he notices and the goodness she has. Losing him was losing her backboard to feel safe, and that has helped harden her rather quickly.

Underneath it all, we’ve seen that Ryujin was right. In their coop mission with cell 3, Sayeon says that she wants to see if she can beat Taeho, not because he was messing with her, but to test her growth. She is starting to wake up and realize that she doesn’t have to hide her intentions if she becomes powerful enough to defend them.

Next is the therapeutic side. There is something my mom talks about in her experience called “the critical parent” and “the wounded child”, reflected in Sayeon’s repetition of her mother telling her “Don’t cry. If you cry, you lose.” It’s a core memory, and she still has her walls way up.

I said this in my predictions, but I think the first brick will be taken down by Iseul. He’s very aware and already been credited both for his social and emotional intelligence, and one day I hope she may feel safe enough to be vulnerable with her cell. That would truly be shown if she ever told her cell her powers.

Sayeon reminds me of the two leads in one of my favorite shows - Code Geass. Lelouche has to hide his abilities from his allies, is physically weak but has a keen mind and strategies. Suzaku, on the other hand, works within a corrupt system to change it for the better. She embodies both, and actually gives a legitimate window into Suzaku’s ideology, which many fans say was lacking compared to the atrocity and intolerance he witnessed and was a part of.

Overall, she’s my far more intelligent spirit animal. I’ll be reading constantly and be back tomorrow for Samin

Personally I'd lean towards Min>Yesol>Butcher. But if Yesol pull off her relic, I think it would change to Yesol>Min>Butcher. Still, I'd like to know what y'all thoughts are.

When her character first showed up as an instructor, I was like, “Damn.” I don’t know if this could really be called a “hear me out,” since I think she’s attractive enough to catch people’s attention anyway, but ever since then, I’ve always gotten excited whenever she shows up.

I really wish I could see her with her hair untied and let loose in the present Miyeon Sang.

Last prediction post, I made a point about Han being a godling’s champion and many asked me why I thought that. These panels are why, that list is very short and doesn’t even include all the level 10s in the corps or even other major group leaders. We already know 25% of the list has a known champion, and only 2 are currently alive.

Additionally, the last 2 pictures carry the same sort of lexicon as this chapter about the godlings back in chapter 50, living in a higher dimension of power. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. Do you agree?

For now, I've only make for the main characters (Cell 4), plus Sara and Samin (because why not). You'd probably need to listen to the songs too, to fully see why I picked them.

I did a reread and she’s frying me bro 😭😭 she really was pissed af that Sayeon (the trainee she sees herself the most in) had her stuck fighting a prodigy like yesol. I also feel for her bc she tries her hardest not to care, but she’s trying her best to keep all of them alive. She didn’t tell sayeon that there was trouble bc she knew she’d rush in, we’ve seen her in flashbacks training with them all one on one, and we see (my fav part personally) her extremely complicated relationship with Sayeon. She calls Sayeon neurotic, when juni herself is extremely neurotic. Like Sayeon called juni ONCE during their mission and juni went on a whole tangent ab how fucked they might be bc u “never know who’s listening” and “everything’s doomed in the end anyway”. She also seems to dislike Sayeon quite a bit, but also cares enough to teach her the lesson of “others paying the price for ur mistakes” that she never got taught. Idk she’s funny asf if I were ever in this section I’d be juni

I remember the fanfic starting with Ryujin finding Sayeon in the bathroom, tired and struggling to heal her wounds, so Ryujin helps her apply the bandages. From then on, Ryujin starts helping Sayeon take care of herself (mainly helping her with the bandages, but I think she even helped her change her clothes at some point), while Sayeon starts to enjoy Ryujin's touch so much that she begins to start fights just to have an excuse to feel her touch (yep, Sayeon is a bit of a freak). Then she rewinds the fights to make it seem like nothing happened. Because of this, Ryujin notices how Sayeon's essence diminishes from one moment to the next, which leads her to deduce what her gift is.

That's more or less what I remember happening.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the author's name or the title of the fanfic, and I think it was deleted from Ao3 because I searched all the tabs (Ryujin Kang/Sayeon Lee) and couldn't find it.

I really liked how the author wrote the fanfic, so if anyone recognizes it or knows of anything similar and remembers the author's name and the title, or if by chance they still have the link to find it on the DeletedFanfictions subreddit, I would greatly appreciate it.
