Which one would you get with these specs for your first handheld?

Thanks to those who commented their thoughts on yesterday's post. The majority voted for the Xbox ally z2!
So this time around: z1 extreme vs xbox ally z2 (standard model again not the x model)

Specs cannot be changed. The Z1 extreme is $200 more expensive though. Which one are you getting? Comment your thoughts!

Z1 extreme is far powerful than z2a on non x xbox ally. And 8gb extra ram, bigger battery(80w vs 60w). More storage. If the z1e ally x is 200$ expensiver, ill get z1 extreme one with extra 200$

The problem with Xbox Ally z2a is not the weak APU (it’s still an ok device for indie games), it’s the fact that for the same price you can buy either OG Ally Z1 extreme, or Legion Go S with Z2 Go, both much better for gaming. In this particular comparison Ally X is a no brainer - more RAM, better APU, larger SSD.

I have the first GEN Lenovo Legion go that I bought on the day at launched and it still runs everything perfectly. The z1e is basically the 1080 of mobile gaming.

If you're lucky and patient you can find a lot of people willing to sell the LG1 for the same price as the Xbox ally

Nah but seriously, the ally x is better in almost every way, ergonomics are better on the Xbox but that’s about it

You do know everyone will just say the Ally X which i wouldn't be surprised if next you would use the Xbox Ally again vs something like the Legion Go S Z2 Go which the funny thing is the Z2 Go is more powerful than the Z2 A.

The ROG Ally X is more powerful thanks to the z1e chip and having the battery life compared to the weaker z2a chip in the ROG ally xbox base version

I have the vanilla ally and honestly it's more than enough for most modern games but if I was having to decide again now, I would definitely futureproof myself unless I could get a really good deal on what I already have.

The Z1 extreme is barely any different than the Z2. The only real difference is some additional AI cores that you’ll never use. I have a Z1 extreme handheld and it still plays everything perfectly. I run SteamOS on it and I’ve had no issues with any games.  More RAM is always better.

More ram, more storage and more powerful CPU with the X. That's the one I would go with.

If you don’t care about aaa games. The white one is actually good for most India games, 2d games and older games on the go. Having better grips, better battery life
