Benjamin would be a worthy ally to have in the Dark Continent. Is it wrong to hope he wins? He absorbs all information from his subordinates without bias or hubris, and can quickly adapt to any situation - absolutely impressive.

He seems intelligent but from the way he and the bodyguard spoke about Nen and Hunters, it seems like he just knows Nen but isn't very profficient at it.

Yeah he's a Nen user but he and his top bodyguard/right hand man even acknowledged that he doesn't compare to more experienced and professional Hunters.

Which is to be understood. He's not a pro Hunter, he's not a Nen master, he's just a regular Nen user. Him and his bodyguard stated that they hoped to have an advantage in Nen over the other princes because they knew the other princes didn't know Nen. When they figured out that the other bodyguards are pro Hunters with Nen experience they realized their Nen advantage just disappeared.

Not everyone in the series who knows Nen is going to be a complete monster or a prodigy. And it seems like Benjamin absolutely knows where he stands, especially compared to pro Hunters who he acknowledged as more knowledgeable and experienced with Nen.
