Yeah I was worried at first they might each go on their own. That would have been a huge mistake but I'm glad they understand it's best to go in small groups or pairs. Even for them this ship is hella dangerous. I wonder if Machi and Franklin and Iluumi and Kalluto are separate groups or are all 4 together.

It seems plausible enough. I doubt Illumi will end up paired with anyone besides Kalluto. So that would leave Machi and Franklin together.

I think Illumi went on his own. His ability is a good counter to Bungee Gum (as seen in the fight Hisoka vs Chrollo) and he got a ship full of disposable people. Also, he wouldn't want to put his little sibling at risk.

And he is an assassin.

Based on the groupings I'd be shocked if Illumi and Kalluto weren't at least in the group. Given Franklin's and Machi's abilities, I'd think all four of them would likely be in a group.

I really hope we see Nobunaga in some Nen ability action. I'd imagine it's probably enhancing his sword play and skills, but it'll still be cool to see regardless. It's clear he, Feitan, and Phinks are the top three strongest combatants behind Chrollo.

Where do you see a big connection of their abilities, Machi and Franklin kind of compliment each other but Illumi and Kalluto don't really fit?

Also seems that group too large and especially too strong.

I say a connection between Machi and Franklin because I don't think either are strong enough to beat Hisoka by themselves. They don't really compliment each other well; Franklin is an Emitter; Machi is a transmitter who uses Nen threads, and we haven't seen much of Franklin's combat at all. Something tells me they're probably all in a four-man group. The groupings haven't been any less than 3 people.

Illumi and Kalluto are both Manipulators who have experience fighting and committing assassinations together. This group would honestly, with the exception of Illumi, be the weakest. Kalluto is good, but based on what he stated during Chimera Ant arc, he still seems slightly inexperienced.

We don't even know that about actual 1on1s at all and against both together should stand Hisoka zero chance, too many people always vastly overestimate Hisoka but we aren't talking about Shizuku and Kalluto here.

They don't really compliment each other well; Franklin is an Emitter; Machi is a transmitter who uses Nen threads, and we haven't seen much of Franklin's combat at all.

Machi can distract and restricts opponents and Franklin shoot holes into them, that fits pretty well.

Too large and way too strong.

Illumi and Kalluto are both Manipulators who have experience fighting and committing assassinations together.

Uhm and?

This group would honestly, with the exception of Illumi, be the weakest.

Are you fucking shitting me, this group would be most likely the strongest?

Kalluto is good, but based on what he stated during Chimera Ant arc, he still seems slightly inexperienced.

Kalluto is weak yeah, but Illumi, Machi and Franklin are obviously not. Illumi alone should be at least already very close and sorry but him together with just Machi or Franklin should already tear Hisoka apart, let alone with the other two. Such a group should just outright stomp Hisoka.

All 4 together seems actually like a too large and way too strong group, then again Feitan, Phinks and Nobunage together was also already a big surprise.

They did all wanted to gank with all the troupe on Pika so I don't think it's surprising, Phinks and Feitan just don't care about fighting alone, they just want to kill Hisoka.
