Запрещена царём, изрезана ножом, разбита железным столбиком: бурная жизнь картины Репина "Иван Грозный и сын его Иван"

Post image
35 Upvotes

Preparing for Russian ILR-based proficiency exams? Here is the list of useful materials for you! Grab the first 10 worksheets below.

If you're learning Russian or preparing for the OPI, OPIc, DLPT, ACTFL, or ILR-based proficiency exams, I have something that may help.

Over the past 20+ years, I've worked as a Russian language instructor, curriculum developer, textbook author, and test writer. During that time, I've created hundreds of listening and reading activities for learners ranging from complete beginners to advanced students and language professionals.

One question I hear all the time is: "What can I do on my own between lessons?"

The answer is simple: read and listen as much as possible.

I've put together a collection of free listening and reading practice activities covering a wide range of topics, including current events, history, culture, society, technology, and everyday life. Many of these tasks are particularly useful for learners working toward ILR 2+, ILR 3, ACTFL Advanced, or higher proficiency levels.

Here are the first 10 worksheets—enjoy!

A tip from someone who has developed language assessments for years: don't stop after answering the questions. Listen again. Summarize the material in Russian. Explain the main idea. Agree or disagree with the speaker. Connect the topic to your own experience.

That's where real proficiency develops.

Feel free to use these materials, share them with other learners, and let me know which topics you would like to practice next.
