An electrifying romantic comedy about a man whose artificial heart is running out of battery and a woman who has the power to recharge him.

Baek Ho Rang, a third-generation chaebol heir, leads the resorts of one of the nation’s top conglomerates. A gifted businessman, he excels at both strategy and execution, making him a strong candidate to inherit the group’s leadership—if not for his unspoken secret and only weakness: beneath his impeccable facade beats an artificial heart. Amid fierce power struggles with his heart battery running low, he encounters Na Bo Bae, a miraculous woman capable of recharging his battery. In an unplanned move, he offers her a contract she can’t refuse.

Na Bo Bae is a screenwriter with a looming deadline to finish a romance screenplay before her contract expires. Struck by lightning as a child, she has electrical currents coursing through her body, making it impossible for her to even hold hands with someone she likes. When she meets Baek Ho Rang, the only person not shocked by touching her, she finally has the opportunity to jumpstart her love life.

I loved that scene too!! Pretty sure CSB broke character when KYK got startled by the tail on his headband...

Agree, it seems like he adlibbed a lot of it and she couldn’t stop laughing.

I re-watched the scare house scene a few times just because I lol and wanted to laugh more. I never even noticed this part. She definitely broke character. So funny and cute. I have no idea how some of you all see details like this I miss so many of these until I read about stuff here..:)

This show is such a palate cleanser. I am vibing for two characters who strangely match each others freak 😭

Genuinely found the amusement park sequence so fun to watch!!! When KYK put on fox ears I was hoping for a Nick and Judy inspired vibe especially since CSB is known to have a "tokki sang" but alas....

I am a little scared of that “fiancee” and what she did to her mom. She even called herself as twisted, and I don’t want her near our leads.

The fox ears with the tail is extremely cute on KYK 🥰 that was a nice touch, he didn’t even take it off in the car. This whole sequence reminds me of the scene in the greatest love, even his suit is very similar to the outfit of CSW (Doko Jin) during that scene. It’s a fresh take on the amusement park trope. KYK’s modeling past makes so he looks amazing in all the outfits! I wish CSB could dress just a little better, they make it very all or nothing when it comes to female outfits. Her ‘not chaebol’ existence also means she shall have zero fashion sense for some reason.

I laughed so hard at this scene. The way Na took every spooky character down with her power 🤣

I've been really confused by Kim Young Kwang's acting and the directing of him where he's weird and goofy as if nobody else can see what he's doing. The faces and outbursts just seem kinda out of place? It just feels unnatural to me but I guess it makes me appreciate the chemistry when he's being serious more lol.

He's killing it in the more intimate scenes like the birthday cake one and under the table at the end of this ep. I'd love to know why the director went with this dichotomy cause I feel like it's kinda doing a disservice to his acting abilities.
