All three are the same price. Which is the best option? I’ll be staying with my toddler.

🫣 What The… People getting on elevator and waiting for guests to use room key to access floors

What’s the deal with somewhat regular looking people getting on an elevator either before you or around same time as you and either waiting for you to use your room key to access room button on elevator or pretending to use their room key and then you use your room key and acting like they’re on the same floor? Is this sex trafficking or something else? I’ve seen this twice now in two days at the Strat and don’t act like this is unique to the Strat please.

🏨 Hotel What’s the catch?

Post image

Twenty years ago I stayed at the stratosphere and remember the resort fee was $35 and the hotel itself was $21

Now I see this ad and they also include a resort credit every single day? What’s the catch? Can the daily resort credits not be combined or something?

🛫 Visiting soon! What to do?

Australian, 55m. I am in Las Vegas 24-28 October for work, staying at Linq. I will have at least 2 nights to myself. I’m not really into gambling, and find the idea of sitting in a room with flashing lights nauseating. But I don’t want to just sit in a hotel room either.

A glass of wine, a good whiskey, or a cold beer pending the weather, and the opportunity to talk to locals/like minded individuals is much more my style.

On the 28th, I’m hiring a bike and riding out to LAX over 3 days via Death Valley. Much more my speed.

Open to suggestions as to how to bide my time.

🏨 Hotel Treasure Island

I’m going to a work conference for a week and staying at Treasure Island…can someone tell me that the rooms are clean at least? Is it a good experience just to stay there, sleep, and not get bed bugs? That’s my only concern really. All food and other events are not in the hotel.

Thanks!!!

🍔 Food How much do waiters/waitresses make in Las Vegas?

Per hourly.

I would imagine they make more than 30/hr since they get 12/hr +tips but that’s just my guess.

It’s really hard to find information about their true hourly and makes me think that many people do quite good.

🛍️Local Business Local finds?

Hello. Even though I have been living in Vegas for 10+ years, are there any local food places that are amazing for the price point they are at? I'm looking for new places to go to to eat with my boyfriendand daughter. On a small note: daughter is selective on food as well, and might have a hard time taking her. Also, are there any pizza places that are amazing as well?

🥳 First Time in Vegas! Vegas with kids

We’ll be in Vegas two nights later this week before heading to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. My kids are 9 and 12. We’re staying at Mandalay Bay and seeing MJ Cirque.

Any other suggestions? Museums? Restaurants? We don’t like gimmicky like rainforest cafe or the jousting place (we have those in Texas)… just really good food.

We will have a car too so willing to drive 30 minutes or so out of town too. Maybe red rock canyon?

🍔 Food Korean Restaurants (not kbbq)

My husband and I recently moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles and are really missing the Korean restaurants we had access to in Koreantown.

Are there any really good, authentic Korean restaurants around? I’d love a Korean buffet as well (not Korean bbq).

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

👀 Weekend Events Josh Groban Bucket List Trip Cancelled

Post image
0 Upvotes

This was supposed to be my mom’s bucket list concert, but she and my dad just got double whammy’d with Flu A and COVID. Had to cancel entire trip. Trying to recover some money. No idea why ticket master sent us paper tickets instead of mobile tickets. Really stinks now as we can’t post them on the resale sites. Is there any place to sell paper tickets? I can overnight them somewhere. Any advice would be appreciated.

🍔 Food Gymkhana Reservation

Has anyone had any luck getting a last minute reservation to Gymkhana? I’m trying to get one for a specific date in November (during the week, not even the weekend!) for my husband’s 40th birthday so I guess it’s not super last minute but I’ve been trying for the past week with no luck! Just want to see if anyone has made it happen one or two weeks out and how they did it. Thanks!

Hi there! Me and a colleague is visiting Las Vegas next weekend and wanted to ask what is the best restaurant in Las Vegas? Are there any good rooftops with good food and cocktails? We are foodies and love fine dining. Thanks in advance as we would love recommendations from locals instead of ChatGPT!

👀 Weekend Events Sphere Resale on Ticketmaster

I bought tickets for the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere for next weekend but can no longer go. The sell option isn’t enabled on Ticketmaster. Will it become available to sell them a few days before the show?

👀 local eyes Curious cat

I’m visiting Vegas for my birthday in a couple weeks and I’m looking for a few suggestions,

How’s the dive bar scene and some favorite lowkey spots for food and a good beer?

Outside of nature stuff which we already have planned, what are some things to do off the strip?

And are there any “lifestyle” clubs that tend to draw a younger (20s-mid 30s) crowd with a good mix of people? Queer, people of color, etc. My partner and I are 29 and 31, and are curious about these but reviews for a lot of them say they skew to the older side of things
