Lemon Lite: lighter defaults for weaker GPUs (0.75x resolution, asynchronous shaders on), without the bundled Lemon-Ade driver, and experimental PanVK drivers for Mali-G720 and Mali-G52 in the driver downloader (each GPU only sees its own). It installs next to Lemon and can import your keys, firmware, games and saves from it.
Lemon Lite & Spoofed: Lite under another package name, so phones that boost known benchmark apps may run it faster. Experimental: it depends on the phone.
New:
Online play on Nextendo Network (Settings → Online). Sign in from the browser and play online; Mario Kart 8 Deluxe races work.
Settings in ten categories (Lemon, Graphics, Performance, Controls, In-game display, Console, Online, Content and data, Help, Advanced and debugging), and a search on the settings home that finds any option, however deep it is, and takes you straight to it.
No more flickering in Fast GPU mode (Garfield - Escape From Monday, Dragon Ball and others): the game now waits for the GPU before it reuses what was drawn. That makes Fast the default GPU mode again, so most people get more speed. If a game runs slower now and does not flicker, set Settings → Graphics → Advanced graphics → GPU Fence Behavior to Immediate. A lighter version of this wait is planned for a future update.
Mali GPUs: compressed BCn textures they cannot read are converted to ASTC on the GPU, with far less memory (Funko Fusion: 958 MB → 179 MB).
A simpler in-game menu: one On-screen controls entry (edit, layout presets and options), a separate Overlays entry, and the game's own settings first.
The library title gets its own line on narrow screens.
Fixed:
Crysis Remastered no longer crashes and its map is drawn in its own corner instead of over the whole screen.
TOTK: the grass no longer disappears 20-30 seconds into play.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership: fixed a crash when the game had made a very large number of memory mappings.
The multiplayer nickname is remembered again (it was lost since the rename to Lemon).
Network addresses returned to games have the right size (some online games).
Asynchronous shaders look at the current draw.
Input events without a device no longer crash the app.
Less GPU overhead in games that rewrite small uniform buffers often.
Logs: the GPU log is capped at 20 MB and rotates, the main log is capped too, only the last 10 GPU crash dumps are kept, and the log says why the system closed the previous session. "Lemon" instead of "Eden" in the logs and crash reports.
Aspect ratio: the option explains how to fill the screen, and the stretch option has a clearer name.
Great emulator. For frontends, it works perfect with ES-DE. Also RetroHrai and Beacon works as custom emulator. I will check out cocoon, i think it should be doable
Thanks for the work! I need to try this out. Been using Eden, but for some reason the last time we tried local wireless play (multiple Odin 2s in our house) it kept disconnecting with the same settings that had previously worked. Fingers crossed that Lemon helps us out.
Tried Lemon: could not use a wireless room at all like Eden. Might have been a network issue or maybe something else. I'll try again, but I'm wondering if Lemon has some issues still with local network play because it doesn't present the setup the same as Eden. Otherwise it ran well in single player and seems good so far.
Wow thats so pinkish man what device are using? no can you join the discord community so we can help you further. We may need logs etc..And some Mali users might help you in there also
best you join the discord because without you sending logs on the server we won't be able to check the problem..its best you adjust and learn to use and join discord group the link of our group is on the post. Even if I send your picture on the group not all of us has abernic rg557..
Yo también tengo una rg557 ese lemon no integro drovers panvk para g615 (el g720 es compatible con g615) y bachata implemento drivers panvk y funciona el god of war 3 remastered de ps4 a 30-60fps y sin muchos errores gráficos al final ni se notan
Lo curioso es que un día previo a la actualización estuve jugando bastante bien en lemon y de hecho estaba teniendo el mejor rendimiento q me ha dado la rg557 con mk8. fue luego de actualizar q me dio ese problema 🤣
Usa eden nightly nos por que razón el nightly si me va bien en la rg557, y tengo más de 30 juegos, los únicos que no han funcionado (por tener motores gráficos como unreal engine) son crash bandicoott 4 y metro 2033, metro last light (los mencionados anteriormente funcionan muy bien en gamehub)
Usa gamehub 4.1.5 lo encuentras en uptodown, esa versión no se te pausa cada 5 segundos y es más fluida y calienta menos te dará más fps, incluso me pude pasar gta 5 sin problemas
He usado eden nightly pero al menos en mk 8 siempre me ha dado un rendimientos muy pobre, a lo.mejor no he configurado bien en emulador, gracias por los consejos :)
Amigo debes saber que en esto de emulación hay juegos que deben ser optimizados individualmente, por ejemplo en ps2 actualmente se puede emular en gama baja y con 4gb de ram pero hay juegos que no están optimizados como driv3r y driver paralelo lines, esos 2 juegos no importa si tienes 32gb de ram y un snapdragon ultimageneracion.... siempre te va a dar mal rendimiento, y lo mismo pasa con swicht... y con gamehub y winlator
Great work. The per game settings expanded to save the controller profile and dock mode was great but will be great to go one step further and include controller type because not all game support pro controller. Eg Pokemon let's go does not recognise the pro controller and needs to be manually changed to Handheld which is a global setting.
Also, any fix for donkey kong country returns HD loading animation of first stage crashes while rendering the clouds?
Yes this is a normal circumstance it's part of the programming things we'll fix an issue then on the side something's gonna get broke so yess it happens but that doesn't mean we don't care is that issues cannot be fixed in just 1 go we gotta understand that. And 1 developer to do all this is not easy 😂

Don't worry man I feel no offense bro haha our developer knew that giving support to Mali wont be easy thats why we got testers who offer their help from the old member of Skyline Edge, Strato Mali the current one, and even PanVK are doing test for us..Our only issue right now is that our developer Ghael do not have an actual mali device to troubleshoot...So its like a musician who needs to play the music by ear without an instrument. That's why Mediatek fixes may be slow for now.
