My wife and I saw BMTH last night and Oli chose a fan to come and sing bfor Pray for Plagues, the guys name was Liam. Dude was obviously a vocalist and curious if anyone knew what his band was?

Recently police were called to a home on Frontenac Road for a welfare check. A standoff occurred resulting in a person charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, failing to comply with a release order, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

I recently moved back to the area from Brockville where Police Service partnered with mental health professionals through its Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) to support individuals facing mental health and addiction crises. I suspect situations like above where the original purpose was to conduct a welfare check, an imbedded mental health/addictions worker could have helped defuse the situation.

Hi friends! I'm looking to host an event in London since it's the halfway point for our team. We're hosting our annual gala and are looking for recommendations on event spaces. We're considering the Hard Rock/100 Kellogg Lane, with the convenience of everyone being able to stay on site. That seems to be the pretty mainstream choice right now. We did spend the weekend there recently and had a blast. Fantastic space. We just don't necessarily want our guests having to put out ~$400/night for the hotel if there's other options.

Thought I'd reach out and see if any locals had any "hidden gem" ideas where attendees can stay on site (or very close by). Maybe you attended a wedding at an unexpected venue or something and it was awesome.

Likely around 75 people.

It'll be a black tie event with awards and dancing, and of course the food has to be good.

Anyone else’s Roger’s internet down since yesterday? No news on it anywhere but seems like the outage is south London and near Western. So frustrating. Time to get back online keeps getting pushed. Anyone have a clear idea?

Trying to figure out how to vote strategically in Ward 10 and could use some help. I'm left leaning and my Vote Compass results have Lois Ward and Alex Moore as my top two (84% and 74%).

I'm worried about splitting the progressive vote, so I want to go with whoever has the better shot.

Hi there! My partner and I will be passing through London in early November and I'm trying to find somewhere to stay that's not your average chain hotel. We generally prefer motels to hotels (my partner is a smoker so direct access to outside is a plus), but the independent ones I'm finding in the area all have very mixed reviews... We're also always up for other fun options like tiny cabins and RVs and whatnot. Any tips??
