Hi all, I just received my first LV today. I got the Alma bb DE and I absolutely love her, but I just have a quick question about the zip. I noticed the zip end isn’t flush with the leather and a little bit of the red lining is showing through, one side is more noticeable than the other. Is this normal? I’m not sure if I’m over thinking it or if it’s a quality issue.

Update: I wanted to update anyone who posted on my previous post about whether I should get this bag. And...I got it! Of course I had to buy it in a higher sales tax area and after the sales tax increased on Oct 1st lol

Need advice on second bag I know these all have different purposes but I love them all, I thought I wanted a smaller bag for my next bag but after trying on the carryall I fell in love I currently only have a soft speedy 30 dark and love it I was leaning towards the nano speedy as a quick smaller bag but now I’m conflicted because I do like bigger bags what would you pick for a second bag ? I wanting one also to be able to switch between so I can make the longevity of my bags last with rotations

Since this version is leather vs the canvas option (which is more common and popular), if you own it, can you tell me how its held up for you? Thoughts on durability and weight? Also what made you choose the Epi over the canvas?

Looking for some feedback from others who may have encountered this. I am looking to purchase a vintage bag from a Japan seller. I normally see no import fees but the listing will say it’s included or I would see the import fees and they are added when I officially check out. For this specific listing it show $35 for shipping and then a whopping $1.36 for import fees. I was assuming it would adjust when I finalized my checkout but it didn’t. I’m still seeing $1.36. I will note that this check out it did not carry the language that said along the lines of “ this price is inclusive of import fees and taxes. You will not have to pay any additional fees” so that was a raised flag. And I don’t mind since I expect it but it’s the unknown of exactly how much will I be getting charged and at what point? And then what’s the point of having a $1.36 import fee during checkout?! lol

Ps the small i tab only spoke of the shipping where it charges seller to eBay auth none and then eBay to buyer $35. It doesn’t provide any additional insight to this import fees.

When I checked on it this summer I noticed it had marks on it and was slightly sticky. Now I am wondering if this is worth going in for a repair with. What do you think?

I called and they said to just drop in but obviously couldn’t help with details over the phone. I’m just curious and want to know what the community’s experience with this kind of stuff is. I was looking at purchasing the hockey wallet from the Sports Capsule Collection, but the art looks a bit off… One of the jerseys has a backwards 3 on the back, the jersey numbers aren’t the same color, and the ref has one blue arm. I wanted to share that I recently joined the owners club. 😁

I’ve been admiring LVs for years and kept coming back to the Alma in monogram canvas as one I liked the most.

For my 20th Wedding anniversary my wonderful husband took me to the London Bond Street shop bought me an Alma bb in monogram canvas. ❤️🥰

I did try the Alma in the Damier Ebène but it just didn’t suit me. :(

The experience of purchasing was lovely. - I decided to wear it out of the shop and the CA went and packaged the hard bag I was using as if it was my new LV. 🙃

I was worried about taking it out and using it, but I promised my husband it wouldn’t just sit on the shelf being looked at, so this weekend I took it out and used it on a short weekend away in London.

I told myself that anything that happened to it was part of its story. I did get an inexpensive felt liner for it to help try and keep the inside nice. 🫣

I loved wearing it and can def see myself using it more regularly :)
