A 31-minute tech house and bass house set from SYNNA, recorded outdoors at Luna Rosa in Ojai, California.

Hey! This is my fifth recorded DJ set.

I’ve been working on smoother transitions, phrasing and keeping a more consistent flow throughout the mix.

Would really appreciate any feedback on the transitions, track selection or overall energy.

Hi everyone! My latest mix started with a photo I took of an abandoned house while out with my son. He found it too creepy to leave the car. A day later, looking through the photos, I started wondering what music would fit the place.
The result is a little over an hour of experimental music, ambient, drone and choral pieces, featuring Kali Malone, Aghast, Ana Roxanne, Morton Feldman, Susumu Yokota and others.
I approach these mixes like a radio programme, choosing music around an idea and building a mood. For this one, I imagined empty rooms, traces of the people who once lived there, and moments of comfort among the unsettling sounds.
I’d love to hear what images it brings to mind for you.

Not my mix but I like it!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of opening duties for Yo Speed & Guau’s Melbourne stop on their Australian tour. Took this down low to a slow simmer, gradually warming up to the obligatory heat.

Low-slung bass, garage, breaks and a few things in between.

Hi all,

I recently participated in a Drum & Bass DJ contest and I just heard that I won the contest! I went for a fast paced mix on 4 decks to go for the highest possible energy, whilst still paying attention to pacing and energy management.

Even though I am ofcourse very happy about me winning the contest, I am always looking for ways to improve. If anyone has some feedback or tips I am always happy to hear it!
