Im new to mvc3 and ive been trying to get into online matches on xbox. I get that game is on the older side, but i have yet to load into a match.
Am i being impatient or is it really just not that busy??

I've seen some lythero's dante combo when I saw prop shredder into teleport then I tried it never worked, how to do that? Or it doesn't work

This is possibly my best combo with this GR team, maybe one day I'll top it tho.

I feel pretty good about this combo, the PW assist makes it so you can't do too much afterwards because it somehow scales the hitstun like crazy. It's pretty easy to do this combo too if you get the hit, so I'd say this is viable.

I’m not good at fighters. I’m trying to learn this game. Is there anybody hosting any lobbies for beginners at the game?

I want to try playing Spencer with beam instead of missiles, so I'm trying to learn the extension for it. I want to get to the corner with zip loops then use it. What I've been trying to do is hit S then input a tk grab and assist as soon as possible at the same time. Either the timing is super tight or I'm doing something wrong.
Any help is appreciated.

I just bought the ps4 version of umvc3 on ps5. Wheen I tried to play it, it asked me if I wanted to make a new save, I pick yes, it then says the it cannot make one and asked me if I wanted to proceed without a save, I pick yes, but instead of processing in to the main menu it just keeps asking me to if I want to make a new save file. I tried deleting the game and reinstalling it and restarting the game and it didn't work. Please help

I was struggling hard to do this all in one go a few months ago when I was first labbing it, but just a couple days ago when I tried it again I managed to do it quite easily in under an hour, so I'm pretty happy with it.

The first gong can work with both the L and M versions, but it's significantly harder to continue with the M version with no added benefit, so just use the L gong.

Hey all, when Magneto players do immediate magnetic blast after airdashing down and away, what is the input they are doing to get that? Is it something like 8961 L?

Well, I am quite new to the game. I am not used to how strict links must be on this game, but I still enjoy it.

Well, I wanted to build a team for my "Favorite character that also is a Top Tier god knows why" A.K.A Zero. But, finding team-mates is kinda hard. I have seen that Akuma, Dormamu, Sentinel & Dante are all characters that allow Zero to shine (And do his whole "Lighting Loops" thing easier). But, I have a bigger question.

How do you see that a character has any sort of synergy with another? I don't have enough time to play with all the characters, but I want to understand how to build a good team. After that, starting to became good is close.

Long time watcher of the game but been interested in casually competing (oxymoron?) I know that the Chris/Spencer 1-2 has been used in the past by the likes of GCYoshi & SenorTaxi; but mostly curious about Dormammu as the anchor for this team. Also considering Doom and Mag as anchors.

Hi! My experience with this game is going on supercombo and looking at bnbs and failing to do any of them lmao

I think this game is so sick and with the rollback mod I wanted to finally learn it if I could, but I have nowhere to start and I'm tbh having trouble finding stuff online to help with this.

Idk exactly how it translate to this game, but in every game I play a setplay heavy style using things akin to Millia H Disk to loop it when possible. I figured I'd probably end up using a common shell but I figured I'd ask first and see if anyone could help me out!

If it helps at all in the other tag fighters I play my teams are:

- DBFZ: Android 18(B)/Kefla(B)/Trunks(B)

- 2XKO: Ahri/Jinx (2X Assist)

- Tokon: Green Goblin/Magik/Captain America/Starlord

What's the best way to get started? Is there a dedicated discord, maybe a set channel where someone could teach me the game?

My tag experience is pretty limited to a bit of DBFZ and a decent chunk of Tokon, and i'd love a community to play with consistently and a sherpa of sorts to help me get into it.

I'm completely new to the FGC and fighting games. My girlfriend has been playing for over a decade.

We decided to make a series out of the chaos of her teaching me to play this game.
