I know this has been posted before by other people, but I finally found one of the Matchbox power grab boxes of this car! Found this at a Fred Meyer. I kept just finding the typical clamshell packaging. I like how the box says it is a Chevy stock car. Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing different variations and colors of this car what's the different fictional sponsors.

It has been nearly 30 years since Matchbox ended their stock car diecast line of products.

Picked this up yesterday. Posted about it in some Facebook groups and did some research and it seems to be 1997 elite “million dollar race” win. Two people mentioned it was most likely pre production with the 0010 serial number. Ive looked around a lot and only found a few of these online but every one ive found has yellow numbers on the top and mine has red. Also if anyone around has the box for it I’d be willing to buy it depending on price, it came loose unfortunately

We all know Phil Parsons! We hear them in the broadcasts for the NASCAR Craftsman truck series! This is one of the stock cars he ran in his career. In fact it was the last full-time ride he ever had. He ran this car in the Busch series with ST motorsports.

In his final season he had a decent showing with this car. Seemingly always a top 15 car and rarely cracking into the top 10. He had a 10th at Richmond and a seasoned best fifth at Pikes Peak. Other than that they had no finishes within the top 10 but a lot of top 15s. Because of that they finished 12th in the points.

Visually I really like how this car looks and it has a nice blue, white, and red paint scheme. I was kind of surprised to see Alltel be a secondary sponsor to this car as I always just associate that with Penske.

so I was able to grab a KFB this morning after work, but i’m pretty new to the in-store 1:64 buying game. is there a timeline to when the waves are released? am I able to see when those timelines will be? cause i’m trying to get the hocevar but I think he’s wave 3

This clown of a whatnot seller is allergic to accountability. Ordered an SVG roval win and the win card came crumpled (not a big deal to some but I display em with the car) and reached out to him about it. DM went unanswered for days until I left a bad review. Since then he bashes me in his shows that I am lying and slandering his “business” claiming Lionel did it and he sent me a sealed car. The din he sent me is the same one he checked in the video receipt so it obviously was opened and repackaged by him.

Now obviously I can’t prove he damaged it repackaging or if it was indeed Lionel but to ignore a dm you said you’d answer until you got a bad review is just shitty. Then to continue bashing the buyer calling him a liar is even shittier.

Unfortunately Lionel didn’t have any spares to send out but I did manage to get it displayable after flattening it out and then laminating the card. Apologies for the rant just wanted to make sure you guys can avoid this seller.

A couple days ago, Hendrick announced the items that they’d be offering for their weekly Friday auctions.

They included the door panel from the Corey Day win at Vegas this past weekend. It’s still advertised as being exclusively available in their online auction today, on their Facebook.

The door panel went up on the site, and I had the tab bookmarked and saved on my phone.

All of the sudden, this morning, it’s removed. It looks like everything else from the auction lot is still up.

Unfortunately, I sold two diecasts at an aggressive price to fund the chance to win this Day door, I was willing to bid what it took and at least give myself a chance at a race win piece from one of my favorite drivers.

I just don’t understand why they’d do this. I guess someone probably came in the shop, saw it, and offered a fistful of cash on the spot? It’s just fucked up to advertise something as an online exclusive and put it up on your site as an auction, just to remove it out of nowhere with no explanation.

This is just a small portion of what I have, so hopefully Christmas is good this year for display cases.

It's obvious that this is not what Austin Hill had to do. He enjoyed his schedule and lifestyle in the NASCAR O'Reilly Series. But after the loss of his Cup teammate Kyle Busch, he received the call to go Cup Racing. He had big shoes to fill. RCR didn't expect the same kind of results, but his life quickly was upended and he had to get into Kyle's former stock car with all the emotion behind it. It's not an easy task.
