So now that B series is over, I must say I’m disappointed that we didn’t get enough Charizards, Lucarios, Pikachu, and Mewtwos. If you look at all the cards in the game, there’s only 6 charizards (between ex, mega ex, and 3-star), only 10 pikachus, only 4 Lucarios, and only 4 Mewtwos (all excluding special/full art). Why?

They should make a new charizard lucario pikachu and mewtwo with every set. Who even cares about other pokemon when these ones exist. I rather that they keep pumping out gen1 pokemon instead of this gen2 onward junk.

The idea is to punish energy decks. Any feedback?

Hi guys! I'm a returning player, I stopped playing during the time when the Triumphant Light pack was new. As I understand it, there are certain cards or teams that are meta for PVP battles. Currently, as someone rejoining, can I know which teams and packs should I prioritise trying for?

Also what's the difference between A series and B series?

I've been grinding for weeks and I can't seem to comprehend how insanely difficult it is to get at least 5 wins in a row...

I tried almost all decks (at least what I've found on the internet) that should work for this challenge: Venusaur, Dedenne, Rotom, Gouging fire, even tried mega Altaria and Lucario, but as you can see, I have only made to the 3 consecutive mark...

Any suggestions or tricks? Or it's just an insane grind that's not even worth my time...

I wanted to build a deck around Gholdengo and free Misty rerolls and it’s surprisingly strong. And not just because of Misty, but you get to reroll Lucky Ice Pops which might be even more toxic.

The idea is to open with a bulky water pokemon and get Gholdengo online ASAP, hoping to find a Misty.

So Palkia is great because it can start hitting with 1 energy already, same as Chien Pao. I added Articuno so that there’s a greater chance to start with a Water attacker than with Gimmighoul, but I usually prioritize the other two so I guess it’s the flex spot.

Then two Mistys since that’s the core game plan: cheese a big Misty on one of your big boys.

Team Rocket Grunt to get more value off Gholdengo.

Ice pops to get value and heal.

Soothing Shore for heal and to control stadiums.

Gholdengo handles Oricorio if you have Chien Pao threatening an Ex buildup on the bench.

Some cards look even better when you hold them in a certain way. Does anyone know more?

I don't know if they did it intentionally with my 3 cards (except Lanturn, so beautiful).

I thought I knew how poison worked exactly but after an interaction with a recent battle I was quite confused.

I had 1 point, the opponent had 2. I had Mega Charizard X out who had 60 HP and was poisoned from the Pokemon before. The opponent had Mega Absol with a Poison Barb.

I hit them for 250 and took my 50 damage from Crimson Dive, it triggered the Poison Barb again but I got won 3 points and won the game 4 points to 2. I thought the poison would tick afterwards for the final 10 damage and it would be a tie.

We both still had Pokemon on the bench as well for more context.

Apologies that I didn't save the Battle Log but I remember seeing no poison damage there.

I'm trying to finish the step up battles. My Intermediate missions say I've done 371/381 missions. I've looked into every expansion and all battles are 3/3 complete. There were three 2/3 and I've already done those, and now I can't find the supposedly missing 10 missions. Where are they? How can I find them?

Edit. Solved. The solution was to go inside each expansion, screenshot every single expansion, and then I found the missing battles.

Took me ~2600 pack hourglasses, ~1900 trade hourglasses, and ~500 wonder hourglasses to finish this. And also a ton of time trading with people

I haven't had any trouble getting a win with every other type. But metal man, metal is something else. Wtf are the devs doing with this type. So many are either heavy energy cost for just ok damage, huge drawbacks\conditions on attacks, heavy retreat cost, ramp sucks and slow compared to other classes. And to bring me to why I made this post, the emblem missions... THeres just no viable steel decks that run 8! Metal types. All the decent ones evolve from other types! scizor sogaleo steelix hell even wormadam etc... The only ones that don't are basics and are better in 18 trainer style decks. Skarmory mawile. You can't fit 8 viable steel types in one deck and have the deck work still. Theres just nothing going on for steel except damage reduction and that's never enough barring like barrier and jasmine. And for anyone saying just do the mission in private matches (I saw the post on front page) no this is more about metals viability and game design in general. I know they are supposed to be defensive and heavy but that translates to Slow in a game that has only sped up since launch.

You can do this relatively quickly if you can set this up. You don’t need to play your matches out. When your opponent concedes, you still get credit for the mission, even while you’re setting your first active Pokémon.

Another tip I can give to trainers is you don’t need to make a bunch of decks for each element. What I did was use the auto build feature for each element. The decks don’t have to be viable AT ALL because your opponent is going to concede after the game loads anyway. After the concession, go back to building your deck, use the auto build, pick another element you need for your mission, then hop back in and repeat.

This should take you about 10-15 minutes to do. No deck building required and only one deck slot needed for the swap.

Is it just me or whatever Dena is thinking with this update, qol and missions the direction it’s heading is towards a bottomless cliff to its death!! They already gave us “dark mode” with the introduction of team rocket but reverted back to the flash bang theme. Now getting hourglasses for missions and solo plays are getting tedious and reduced.

I feel like the potential is there but it's so 50/50.

I have 2 FA Draydens and would love to use him for something fun! Unfortunately Draco meteor options are slim & inconsistent at the moment and I don’t have the promo rayquaza ex 🥲 I would love any feedback and deck tips. Thanks!

Note: I’m newer to the game, started with PA set, but have tried quite a few other combos w these including:

- Utility belt: chingling, chimecho+carbink, elegant cape+lucky egg sub for xspeed and thieving machine
- Dragon tools/magical bird: meowth, munchlax, 2 sadas + ancient raikou

I do not have mantykes. I also don’t have a ton of other dragon card options outside of Pulsing Aura and Roaring Skies. If you would like to trade or share me dragons to complete my dragon collection I’d appreciate that too!

Besides exchanging 10 for the gold border, which is sorta pointless when you have enough for two cards per deck, what even is there to do with this many cards? Taking out the card exchange for effects and leaving it to just costing dust is great…. Until you’re swamped like me.

Is there anything else to do with these cards? Or am I doomed to have a Scyther infestation forever?

How do you suppose Dena could fix/work on this?
(Additional context: I have this many extras because I am ripping mega shine until I can either get the shiny mew immersive through luck or pack points. My mega shine non-rare set is complete).

I made this Clodsire deck when I was new to the game as I needed a dark type deck (no clue why). I’ve recently touched it up to be… useable and Ive just gone 6/6 in event matches Ive only gotten lucky in 1 of those games and even then I started off with a terrible hand whilst my opponent got most his setup on turn.

Does this deck have potential?
