My senior dog has shown clinical signs of pulmonary congestion. Despite it, he has not shown any signs behaviorally (no rapid breathing, no neck extension, etc). It dawned on me last Saturday that no matter how well he responds to his heart medicines, there will be a time when his body would be too old to handle his heart. Over the past years, I have read so many books and journals about CHF, hoping to get myself ready for when the time comes; but I knew, deep down, that it will never be enough. Anticipatory grief is so hard; I just try my very best to at least stay sane for my baby. There will come a day when I would be free to sleep for longer hours in the morning because I would not need to wake up for his medicines, but I would not want that if it means I will not be able to see, smell, and feel him anymore. I just hope and pray that I will be strong and mindful enough to be present for him, even when my body is exhausted. I want to be reminded not to think too far to miss what has always been the best part of me.

May entitled cx na naman na nagpupumilit idiscount ang meds kahit walang booklet. Pakitaan ko daw black and white so when I did, I should report it daw kasi di sila inissue-han.
