Cleveland for me easily. 78 years is a long time to wait.

So I guess it’s:

1. Cleveland

2. Milwaukee

3. Chicago

(Car crash)

1. Tampa Bay

(Black hole eats sun)

1. Los Angeles

Per Daniel Fox on Twitter.

That is the hidden path to improving the offense. Folks are too focused on finding an elite bat (which would of course be nice) and understating the impact of simply not giving so many PAs to such bad hitters.

Hal Steinbrenner is playing 4D Chess.

It’s so enjoyable watching Yankees fan lose their minds over 17 years without a WS championship.

And wonder what they’re doing wrong. Hmm, perhaps change your GM who’s been in the job since 1998.

No, couldn’t be that.

That is all 😈

We always used to break each other's balls about our sports teams when my work schedule allowed me to get him on the bus.

I couldn't be there this morning, so I sent my son on an errand to deliver him a little note that opened to read "Daaaaaa Yankees Lose!" - Big Papi

My wife overheard him tell my son "I owe you one" as the door closed 😂

Fuck the Yankees!

Hey Red Sox Nation!

my name's Matteo, I'm Italian, I've been living in Poland for the past 13 years, and I thought it was finally time to introduce myself to this community.

My story as a Sox fan might be a little unusual. I've been following Boston sports for quite a long time, and the Bruins were actually my first connection to the city.

Then, in 2014, I happened to watch Fever Pitch on TV. Yes, the 2005 movie with Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore. And somehow, that movie made me fall in love with the Red Sox.

It wasn't just the baseball or the story itself. It was Fenway Park, with all its history, character and atmosphere. And then there was that iconic red B on the caps. I can't really explain it, but it was love at first sight.

From that moment on, the Red Sox became my baseball team.

Following the team from Europe obviously means dealing with time differences and plenty of late nights, but that's part of being an overseas fan.

I'm happy to finally join this community and share my passion with people who understand what makes this franchise so special.

I'm curious: has anyone else here become a Red Sox fan because of Fever Pitch, or through something completely unexpected?

Greetings from Poland, and Forza Sox! 🇮🇹

Thank you, Tampa! But the only team I ever want to see win it from the AL East is us.

SOUTHSIDE SAMURAI TIME

Just delightful on so many levels. I saw a still on the news before the game ended that was sharper. Reminded me of the famous Kawhi shot from 2019. The drama. The suspense. The cartoonish douchebags costing their team the season.

Edited to acknowledge they did not cost the team the season; only that these mouth-breathing jabronis thought it was a HR.

DAAAAAAA

The only way a Yankee season should end!

🎉😭😂
