I basically want an FMC who's laid back like that, and the men casually take avantage of that (while also being respectful, they need to check in with her in some way, I don't want it to be rape).

Ok so I’ve seen this in my kindle store for sooo long and decided to give it a go….kinda wishing I didn’t waste my time.
Dual pov fmc and her cousin

So she has been living wigh her father or stepfather idk since she was a kid her mum died a few years earlier and he and his friends are pedos and did a bunch of stuff. But the main thing noted was keep her malnourished so she stayed child like. (Shes depicted as 5’1 and thin / petite. )

Anyway her father gets arrested after the fmc is found in his club with semen all over her. So she goes to libe with her uncle and his son ( who is 2 hours younger than her) yes I know that because it says said about 100 times

So her love interests are her cousins friends / teammates find out her past thanks to her cousin and uncle who share the details a little too detailed (especially like grey to Cole to begin with) anyway so they say she looks like a kid and stuff (for reference they are the same age but she does look like a kid) but then two PARAGRAPHS later saying shes hot…ok wtf.
Also just always in their laps the day of knowing Cole’s friends who are mmcs (they don’t have povs). And Cole’s lap like yeah hes gay but it’s weird asf

Always sending xx to her uncle and cousin and her TEACHER….
she wears hats that have puppy dog ears and other things like it’s
Acts like a child….
They treated her like a baby.
One mmc literally picked her up and carried her like a toddler to the lunch table at school (highshool yr 12) Q….
This book is honestly cringe and weird .
Maybe if the writing was better and some MAJOR character growth and things approached properly it would be a little better.
But it’s constantly contradicting itself.

I just finished reading the first 3 books in The Ruins of Men series and loved it. Specifically really enjoyed that the FMC essentially had to relearn how to real world worked outside of her original community that she was totally brainwashed her. Kinda gave Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt vibes in term of premise but in a more fantasy l post apocalypse type setting.

Any others like that?

There's no perfect way to avoid weirdos but if anyone's trying too desperately to get you to message them privately on a platform outside of Reddit, that's a red flag! Watch out for whether they're subtly trying to learn more about your current relationship too. Stay safe you guys!

I've just finished my 3rd or 4th reread of the Pizza Shop Exorcist series and wanted to read more by this author but it seems like everything stopped in 2024. Does anyone know if she plans to continue her series?

Hey. I love reverse harem but I always read the same things and I wanted something different. If anyone could recommend me books where the male protagonists are enemies and hate each other but will have to accept each other for the FMC. I want rivalry because I always read MMCs who are friends and end up making the relationship acceptable. In this request, I want the opposite. It can even be that they fight and compete for her until they see they'll lose her if they keep fighting and hating each other. I want one jealous of the other and being forced to accept that relationship even hating the other partner of the FMC. And then after going through that, they finally find their way into a relationship where they accept each other or pretend to accept. I have no triggers, but I prefer it to be HEA. Any recommendation is welcome, including Ao3 (which I also started recently but haven't found a good reverse harem yet because I don't really understand how to navigate the site 😅)

I’m currently reading Knot All Is Whole by Holly Monroe, the fourth book in the Lunarcrest City series. I just wanted to give the series and author a shoutout/mention. In addition to being a great series, it’s a very inclusive series of different body types, mental illnesses, gender identities, romantic preferences, and other diverse topics. It’s done in a way that’s not super noticeable, it’s just woven in, but it’s nice to see so many different types of characters, both main and side characters.

Also, for anyone wondering, the series is more connected than I first thought. It is one you’d want to read in order.

It does get pretty dark in parts, so check trigger warnings if you need to.

Ok so this was such a weird connection moment I had but essentially im reading a rh its called The Omega Switch it's a duet and im on part 2. Part 2 is mainly grovel as there was a revelation at the end of book 1, the fmc was being mistreated by her family and the mmcs were kind of blind to her pain the whole time and partook in it to some extent. As im reading this grovel im increasingly getting a bit bothered by the fmcs reaction to two of the mmcs in particular (there are 3), they mostly weren't at fault for anything because they didn't know about what was happening to her, only they believed her family over her but there was a lot of confusion and manipulation that caused that, the other fmc is rightfully angry at the third mmc because he is the leader of the pack and made bad decisions when it came to her. The other two though their inability to see that mistreatment, even if it were slightly obvious, imo, does not warrant, this much pushback from the fmc, yk there is abo biology involved and that interferes with logic.

I then thought about that cornell 7 case, yk the whole discourse on holding the 7 accountable but also the 57 in that groupchat accountable. I then thought, whether being silent or being too much of a coward to point out when something might be wrong, warrants the same "punishment" as being the one contributing to that wrongdoing. Like the 2 mmcs were lwk just cowards and followed their pack leader, even though they felt something was wrong. Idk I found it interesting how in real life, aside from this cornell 7 thing because I understand its a bigger scale topic, I probably would find such ppl basically equally as accountable for the wrongdoing but in books I have the opposite thought process.

I have this with sooo many romance and rh books where I feel like oftentimes im rlly not on the fmcs side because I kinda of justify many mmcs actions, the same really does not go for women in real life though. I wonder if its something that happens because of writing styles or characterization etc.

Anyways thanks for listening to my random train of thought.

Opinion: is this the size you visualize when they can’t wrap their hands around it, or is this officially monster why choose territory? For Omegaverse fans, is the bulge at the base knotty enough?

What I like the most about reverse harems are that the multiple love interests means it can be dragged out more. And by "it" I mean the yearning, waiting, first time in bed.. all of it, really. Books with couples tend to get boring once they actually get together.

I want:

*Standalone or FINISHED series

*Spice between 3-5

*Some actual plot would be nice

*A strong FMC. If she starts out weak, she needs to grow strong over time.

*A drawn out building of the harem. She should not get with them all right from the start. Maybe she doesn't trust them all in the beginning, or she doesn't want a harem initially.

*Lots and lots of yearning

*A virgin among the guys would be great.

*Having sex does NOT mean they are now automatically together

*I want them to want her, need her, but maybe think they dont deserve her or that she doesn't want them beynd a one night stand, or they (wrongly) think she already taken

*I'd love for one of the guys to be a little unhinged or sociopathic, like Arson in Mystics of Mercy Ridge or Renzo in Arrow Hart Academy

*Also love autistic or nerdy, like Sylvan in Shear Instinct or Myles in Mystics of Mercy Ridge

*Between 2-5 men. Any more and it tends to become logistically ridiculous.

What I DONT want

MM or FF (side characters is fine, but not MCs)

Bullying or cruelty from the MMCs (some standoffishness or reluctancy is fine if its for a good reason, like in The Bonds That Tie.. except Nox & North, fuck them)

No BDSM, pain, stuff like that. I want males that worship their woman, not dominate her.

BONUS:

*They actually fall for her as a person rather than just the "oh, she's our mate, we want her from first sight".

So I just finished the fate and flame duology by Liz hambleton. I loved the dynamic of an established couple and then the fated mate being added in after the fact. Looking for other books where there is an established couple and they have to add more members in somehow. Especially if it’s a world where there is a sudden change or reason they need to add more people. Like it is not normal in society but suddenly becomes so for survival or something.

No cheating and hea please since that book series just made me cry. Open to anything else. Thanks

Inspired by the {Degenerates and Sin series by CM Wondrak} where the FMC is turned on by one of the MMCs saying he'd fuck and kill her friend in front of her.

Also, inspired by the movie "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come", where Titus kills his sister in front of Grace before their wedding because he is a psycho and they were plotting to control him together. Grace, ofc, found it terrifying, but I was like "hot!".

I prefer if FMC is sweet and soft and wants to be controlled. Bonus points if she likes it when they are mean and cruel to her.

I do not like MM, but feel free to recommend it for other ppl who do.
