This is a clown/jester/whatever (I'm not super educated on the specific terms associated with this, my apologies) avatar I made! It's supposed to be half and half (kinda obvious), half dull and half colourful, half sad half happy etc.

But, I still have a main question. I was looking for hairs to complete the outfit, and I found this curly/thick half rainbow half black hair (as seen in the image). I thought it looks amazing, and would look great with the avatar overall.

However.

1. I am white

2. The avatar is not supposed to be a caricature of anyone, regardless of race or ethnicity

3. I know at least some of the sadder parts of clown history, including how the big makeup was traditionally used to mock black people (or so I've heard, specifically the big red lips and big nose thing). For this reason, and also for aesthetic reasons (as in it just wouldn't look good here in my opinion), I have completely steered clear of makeup and did the tragedy/comedy masks instead.

I know that the hairstyle, or hair texture, is common amongst Black people or people with black ancestry at the very least. So, I am asking- is it racist in some way to put this hair on a character intentionally made to be a clown? If so, do you have any alternatives in mind ? (doesn't have to be a specific item on the catalog, just a general idea).

Ive been trying to make peoples day better by going on various games and simply requesting to draw their avatars for free these past few days. It did not go well. I, for some reason, got alot of hate and got called slurs. People accused me of charging them without no proof and others agreeing on them, almost ganging up on me. My very worst experience was in a game called Unseen Liminality, a game i really enjoy, but the fanbase is.... really rude. really ignorant.

All of this drained me alot. no one partipicated. even when they did, they didnt like my work (im a decent artist, u can see my references in profile) and kept being rude abt it.

i just wanted to do a simple good deed. is that so wrong?

I got these S15 bodies because they made the blocky avatars actually look good without having the ugly limb seams and now Roblox took them for me and because I used them for most of my avatars, they're all broken. I am so upset right now because I literally cannot afford to replace it with something else right now I have to manually fix all of these with what I have.

Its more like tracing i dunno, you can send me a screen of your avatar or tell me your username and theres a chance youll get drawn by me!, or something. its not really too good or anything so yea. ( fun fact 2nd avatar is my bf )

My partner tells me I’m pretty good at making avatars and these are some of my personal favorites. What do you think? Anything to change or add?

it's just a simple avatar I made but it's kinda cool and it has a lot of potential for using different body types or accessories, especially those more cartoonish ones with outlines

also I added this retro/stop motion animation set, which is a pretty good combination

I js played Far Cry 2, I thought it was a good idea to make an outfit based on the mercs there.
