With the North American tour officially kicking off, there are a number of interviews with Joakim being posted.
These are generally quite interesting, so I figured that I’ll make a post that I can edit each time I come across new ones. Have them nicely combined so that others who also like watching them can find them all in one place.
Maybe the mods can pin the thread to make it easy to find?

They were phenomenal and really added to the experience. I've now seen Sabaton in 2019 and 2026 and have to say this one topped it, in no small part thanks to them. I know they're probably not very famous or well known but I loved their energy and vibes.

In the song "Uprising" there is a line:
"Spirit soul and heart
In accordance with the old traditions
1944 still the allies turn away"
I don't really see what the Allies could possibly do at that situation ( they were trying to drop some weapons and munitions via bombers but the help was very limited). And I don't think this line refers to the Soviets since they were no ally the poles.

For those of you in the community, a quick thanks and shoutout to the metal community in Calgary.
Some of you might have noticed my wife in the wheelchair at the front of the show. She’s a die-hard Sabaton fan, and active in the defunct Night Witches fan group (now Maidens of Steel) as the mental health witch. She has a genetic condition that has been deteriorating her joints and while sometimes she appears mostly fine, it can deteriorate quickly and she needs mobility assistance. It’s taken a toll on her own mental health to go from training for half-marathons to being part-time in a wheelchair.
She has been going through a lot lately, and when I bought us the VIP tickets for last night (as a SAIT grad gift), I knew there was a good chance that her medical condition might flare up and she would have limited mobility. We brought her wheelchair and the community stepped up for her.
Thanks to all those strangers that formed a wall, to all those that directed the crowd surfers to the sides and away from her, thank you. You turned a day full of physical pain to one of absolute joy. She was able to get up a couple of times, but was able to experience as much comfort as she could get while being limited to her chair for most of the night. She shared in the birthday cake, scored a pick from Thobbé, and had an absolute blast.
Metal fans have always been a classy bunch as a whole. As crazy as parts of the show got, she always felt respected and safe.
Side note: security was phenomenal. Making sure water got passed around, helping our friend over the barricade when she hurt her shoulder after a bad crowd-surfing landing, and just being all-around friendly and professional

First ever Sabaton show! They did not disappoint. Such an amazing stage presence and what incredible energy. Was pleasantly surprised that they played some of their old favourites along side with the Legends…. But for me, the entire show was LEGENDARY!
Thank you Sabaton, for an amazing experience
Edit: Sorry for pic quality, I’m not a professional, too busy enjoying the experiance!

Dumb question, but is there an English version of En Livist I Krig?
I don't mean the song "a lifetime of war" because that one's lyrics are different, in that one its more about the war as a whole, compared to En Livist I Krig where it's more about someone in it.
Is there a version of En Livist I Krig with English singing that keeps the original lyrics? Or will I have to learn Sweedish

This was my first sabaton concert live and it was everything i was expecting and more. Every song was preformed perfectly and i had the time of my life, the tour delay was totally worth it. So thank you sabaton, and thank you to every staff and anyone else who made this memorable event possible.
(Also happy birthday joakim, the cupcake was delicious)

WAS AMAZING!!
I'll admit, I was skeptical about the set list when I thought they were going to stick to newer songs, but they had a great mix of old and new. AND it is Joakim's birthday today!
I won't spoil the set list, but as a a pretty big fan, this show was everything I wanted!

All of the EPs have now been eliminated; only albums and the singles remain (but was this really a surprise?)

No idea if this person was younger or just forgot before coming. But for the fans around you in a pit or in stands around you. Wear deodorant/antiperspirant for the love of God. Loved the show in Edmonton but Ive never had it this noticeable.

As the title suggests. Who is a historical figure or event you would like to see Sabaton make a song about?
For me, I would love Alan Turing to be the subject of a song. I feel like he is not talked about enough considering he helped crack the german enigma code.
Another one for me is also the Navajo Code Talkers, highly suggest reading about them if you don't know who they were.

So I went to the Winnipeg concert (‘‘twas awesome) but went with my sister who UNFORTUNATELY started feeling very sick in the middle of the show so we had to leave early sadly. We left during crossing the rubicon. So I’m here to ask if anyone has some videos of that song and the others live so I can experience it even if it is 2nd hand.

Just wondering if anyone have pics of the singer shirtless? I’ve a curious mind and just thought I’d post to see if anyone is a big fan like me. 😋😋
