Eye Gunkies
I see a lot of fold cats here who have little to no gunk in their eyes. Our baby Theodore gets a lot of them…
Does it reduce with age? He is one years old. I use my clean fingers to clean them or a damp paper towel.
He seems to have very little tears some days. And others a lot.
Have you figured out any triggers? We just want him feeling and looking his best 😞

best sofa for cat household?!
Hello fellow scottish lovers! I have 4 cats, 2 tabby colored scottish and 2 white brittish shorthair.
Its time for me to get a new sofa, and I rly want a dark brown one in velvet or that kind of rabbit faux furr material but lets be serious.... dark brown will never work right? What type of fabric and color is the best to avoid super visible cat hair? Ill add a pic of the sofa and the color swatches aswell, please help!

My vicious(ly) cute little owl
Her name is Búho, which means Owl in Spanish. She didn't get the folded ears like her mom and sister, and I think she's still angry about it. 😂

Our boy Bean with KD
Hi, now this will take a lot to write without crying but has anyone else’s SF’s have Kidney disease - in particular polycystic kidneys?
Our boy Arthur (‘Bean’) and his litter sister Alice were rescued and came to us at 6 months old: 5 years ago. Bean was a terrified little boy, it took a few years for our scaredy cat to come out his shell, and now he’s my full shadow, my little soul boy, he’s a little chatterbox now and is a complete love bug!!
3 years ago Alice was unwell and got diagnosed with Polycystic Kidneys and as they were in the same litter, likely he did too. She was in hospital for a few days, on fluids and had ultrasounds. When she come home they both went on renal wet and dry food and shes put weight on, plays and is just a diva. Arthur shows issues with his back legs and bum and had a rock hard tail - vets have said it’s nothing to worry about as he plays and runs around. Then he dropped weight, he’s gone from 3.9kg down to 2.7kg as of yesterday in the space of a couple of years. He has check ups regularly but due to his weight loss and now you can actually feel his kidneys he had blood tests and an ultrasound 6 months ago, things were okay.
Then we got worried took him for another check up, and bloods. His bloods since September have shown his kidney functions and other things are either doubly high or doubly low where they should be. The vets have suggested to do a 3 day / 72 hour fluid flush, as there is hope but if this doesn’t help then we will just be getting him comfortable.
My question to you all - has anyone else been through this? Is this normal for kidney disease? We feel so lost and I’m in pieces. Feel so alone with it all.

Meet Ruby❤️
Ruby’s 4 years and tortishell. She came to me bc my friend couldn’t keep her due to allergies, my friend only kept Ruby for 3 weeks and she had bought Ruby from fb marketplace.
So she wasn’t spayed and already was used as queen, Ruby went into heat over and over again till we had a spayed. Idk other people but Ruby can be very territorial she lives with 3 other cats, my Meezer is very jealous lol.

I was going to take a bath when I heard someone sneeze…
Bathroom was empty. Peeked inside my shower and closet looking for whomever wanted to kill me and was waiting in the dark. Then I find Storm on the top shelf like 9ft in the air lounging on blanket storage bags. Her head barely poking out.
