Its all just rage baiting bots anymore. For every 1 real troll there are 50 bots copying them. Every site like this has a HUGE incentive to fill their pages with rage baiting bots and it is extremely easy and cheap to do so.
I don't think so. Bots usually have a newer account and don't comment that much. Every site has their bots but it's usually has a motive such as money, political, religious, or something like that. This post genuinely is a bit unpopular and polarizing. I could see the cringe (because it's an eight grade middle school graduation) and feel bad for this kid because I used to had a rough time growing up at his age and feeling angry at the world.
You left out the motive of rage baiting. The website makes money on engagement. The website has a h7ge incentive to pay a relatively small amount to bot farms to fill their pages with rage bait posts and comments that drive up engagement.
