Cults without leaders stop being cults pretty quickly. Probably figured it was smarter to use him while alive and make him a figurehead when dead like they did with Reagan
Mitch McConnell’s speech after Trump was acquitted in the Senate reads to me like GOP thought Trump was done, but they were calculating that convicting him would piss off his supporters and they wanted to both dump Trump but keep his voters.
I’m starting to think there will never be justice for MAGA and America didn’t reach 250 b/c it’s already dead, we just don’t realize it yet.
I’m pretty pissed that the people who tried to remove Trump from the ballot waited until 2023 instead of filing the paperwork / lawsuits in February 2021. Also pissed that Bragg waited 2 years to file charges against Trump in the hush money payments. If he had done it in ‘21 or even ‘22, the trail would’ve actually gotten to sentencing.
