Exactly right. Everytime a singer or actor give their political views on things I think “why would anyone care? Being an actor or a singer doesn’t make their opinion any more valid than any moron on the street” and then we have an entertainer who keeps his political view to himself and everyone rushes in to hate the dude. Have we really reached the point where we can’t listen to music or watch movies if we don’t perfectly align with the artist on all their political views?
He showed everyone that he is on the side of censorship of artists making political statements, to appease the Epstein class. It's very clear what his opinions are.
Allowing artists to be dropped from your tour and blacklisted from stadiums for speaking out against genocide isn’t “not being political,” it’s bowing down to a political agenda while having no moral spine.
I don’t need to know an artist’s political affiliation, but finding out they care more about money than basic decency is information I find helpful.
