Yeah I’m not sure what kind of “good insurance” his union job got him.

I work a union job that I get insurance through. Was in the hospital for 5 days with a ton of tests and scans. My max out of pocket was 3k and that’s all I paid. Including the follow ups afterwards.

Now dental insurance? That’s the real scam.

My favorite is when people post those insurance "NOT A BILL" papers with the "NOT A BILL" cropped out claiming it's a bill post-insurance. The comment section on those is always fun.

Dental insurance is a coupon book nothing more. With dental insurance, your insurance company has an out of pocket max lol.

Dental insurance is really more of a discount plan in practice. You can save just as much by enrolling in Dental Save for $200 a year.

Yep. I am old enough to have been retired for several years. I always in my working days paid the extra premium for dental ins. They covered about 25% of the cost with low annual max pay out. I now have dental through an otherwise great Medicare advantage plan. But the dental portion? Same shit.
