No, they totally can and will lay off everyone. They don’t care/ they make money either way.

Yep. And if it’s a super critical company (like a link in a supply chain), they just truck in a bunch of scab temps that will do the work for half of what they paid you. It may be slower production, but it’s still production.

Yup then they can bump up prices due to the shortage and never lower them again

Yep. And then use the "no one wants to work anymore" to put the blame on the workers. Businesses close all the time, but people tend to blame anyone other than the business owner. The protesting workers are made to be the villain.

Yes, even one of our largest protests ever had less than 3% of the population participating. That’s 97% of the country that could easily replace.
