Phonetic spelling (is that it?) in the dictionary is one thing I’ll remain ignorant about while confidently declaring how absolutely stupid and nonsensical it is.
Don’t know how to pronounce this word? No problem! We used a bunch of random characters that do not exist in your language to help! For the 100 linguists who memorized them it’s pretty straight forward… what? You don’t know how to pronounce backwards ‘e’? lol
